tell your mans closest to the music to pause the music and play them lyrics on repeat?

If he feels like 2pac is overrated, then so be it
don't think it changes anything about him and his show
Man, so glad I kept y'all busy off'a some of my earliest online writings from close to TEN years ago. Do I still think Tupac is the most overrated? Certainly. Have I changed my opinion of him since? No doubt. Last year I listened to All Eyes On Me straight for maybe a two months stretch. Maybe it was reminiscing, maybe it was because his voice and cadence and song writing grew on me, maybe it was because there was too much wack music out in 2013, but I can honestly say I appreciate Tupac way more now that I did 9 years ago. He was a great passionate rapper. He was not a top 5/10/15/20 emcee. He lived fast and hard and very much changed the game because of the person that he was, the totality of what he brought to the game. But emcee wise, way overrated. Ya'll wanna bring my family in this in relation to violence, I dunno what to tell you b.
But yeah, I'm not as anti Tupac as I was before.
From my experiences white guys from the Eastcoast and dudes over 40 from New York don't really fukk with Pac at all...
Still waiting for them bars from Scarface that made your face scrunch up @CombatJack. I know you on Youtube searching hard. I'll be here all night fam.Horrible argument bruh. You're a lawyer you should know better with all due respect. Don't worry I'll wait for them Scarface bars all night if I have to

This. Me against the world is one of the greatest displays or lyricism on a hip hop cd EVER. Blasphemy lyrically is a top 5-10 song of all time. Thats that east coast bias talkinSo content dont count for shyt no more?Scarface and Chuck D dont have technically "scary" bars....Comin up on the west coast we rewinded cats who spit that raw hard shyt, nikkas who spit that game...Pac might be overated by east coast listeners who grew up thinking lyrics took priority over everything...but when the rap game migrated buildings got kicked over and things got rebuilt,#newrules
...You cant be overated because one state dont know no better and might be a little bitter on top of that

pac was like chuck d/ice cube/spice 1. I thought people knew by now he wasnt a rakim/nas/jay type rapper. If you think everything is about complex/punchline raps then you're really a narrow rap fan.I never heard a Pac verse that did that. I used to be in the dorms at college telling every Pacolyte to play me his best verses and they just hit me with the. Then they'd play something and we'd all laugh.
He could write songs and channel emotion but he gets over on the cult of personality. Spitting at the cameras, shooting at police, refusing to give up his chain (even though he shot himself reaching for his gun)...nikkas love that shyt. I respect fans of his music but don't jump out the window and act like he was Rakim or Nas with the pen game.
