It's bullshyt man. Crawford has been the fight to make for Errol since 2018, when Crawford became a welterweight champion.
At no point were fights with Mikey Garcia, Shawn Porter or Danny Garcia ever more highly demanded by the general public over the Crawford fight. Yet people gave Errol a pass because Crawford was with Top Rank, and with the belief that PBC would finally come to the table once Errol 'cleaned up his side of the street.'
But what about now?
After the car accident, after the pandemic, after missing out on the Pacquiao fight, and after the PBC plan for Errol's career has completely backfired: why can't we just get the fight we've all demanded?
Errol has circumvented the single fight we all wanted to see, and all he has to show for it are diminished wins and wasted years.
Mikey Garcia: diminished win.
Shawn Porter: beat by Brook, Thurman, and knocked out by your divisional rival.
Danny Garcia: Beat by Porter and Thurman.
Outright dismisses fighting Thurman, who was always the most talented and accomplished in his generation of PBC welters.
Misses out on the Pacquiao fight due to injury.
Now he forgoes the Crawford fight again for Ugas.
The whole cleaning up the street shyt flew out the window when Spence wrapped his Lambo around the light pole. It's lunacy that the delaying of the Crawford fight isn't criticized as harshly as the Joshua Wilder gaffe.
This isn't even an attempt to make Errol seem scary either. I don't think Spence is scared of Crawford, but he was and continues to be complicit in the avoidance of the fight.
