WB & DC Admit Defeat "We Cant keep up with Disney"

hitching your wagon to zack snyder was a terrible mistake

Yep he game them the death touch, it has nothing to do with Disney and more to do with who both companies put their faith in to helm their universes. DC characters are more recognisable so it stands to reason they should be more successful but Snyder ensured that never happened. Maybe Snyder was a Disney mole sent in to ensure the downfall of the competition.

Great points. Their original plan was to give Superman the Dark Knight treatment. While MoS is decent it's no Batman Begins. But still they could have kept going in that direction and made a quality trilogy. But instead they reacted to The Avengers success and made BvS.
And yeah, Cavill and Affleck's real life personas aren't helping the brand.
And something else Marvel benefits from is not taking the material so seriously. Critics and audiences will let more shyt slide if you are going for fun and games. Taking MoS and BvS dead serious skewed the reaction being more serious and knit- picking.
Oh well, the world continues to spin and I think they could still do good business with the DC properties if they are more consistent quality wise going forward.

MoS was just as good as BB to me...and that's because of Zod.

Killing Zod was a bad move though IMO, but I get it because of what Snyder was trying to accomplish with the movie.

They "fixed" Supes in JL so I have faith in him going forward. WW will be fine. Aquaman will be fine. Stop trying to be Disney and do you. The forced teamup wasn't needed right now, but we did get WW and Aquaman out of it.

DC should just stick to their animated cartoons and movies

If they insist on live action then they should just make films using some of the storylines in JL/JLU

They had something nice with their animated shyt that they decided to cancel.. only to bring back this year because they realised they fukked up scrapping Young Justice leave a promising show hanging after ending the season with us finding out that the real villain is Darkseid brehs

Have Steppenwolf shout 'For Darkseid!' only to get washed in Justice League brehs

Dont really care for any DC movie until Shazam to be honest

Basically CN had a deal with Mattel... Mattel gave the bulk of the money for the show.... the toys (that nobody ever saw in stores) didn't sell so Mattel didn't recoup and stopped financing the show ... WB wasn't paying themselves so it got cancelled..

BUT at least in Fall 2018 we get young justice back

DC does some things better than Marvel like accurately depicting the power levels of the characters. Weakening characters is one of Marvel's biggest flaws. I kinda wanna see if Snyder can tackle a Dragonball movie with his FX skills but then I

But most of the movies (besides Wonder Woman) seem half done and I've liked all of them. Yeah, the directors cut of BvS was a step up but there had to be a way to make it a good movie within a shorter time limit.

Even average Marvel movies like Avengers 2 or Iron Man 3 seem complete and move you on to the next story.
