Posted half of article.....

the powers that be are well aware of what's coming down the road they've paved. they know that they need to prepare to withstand unrest like nothing seen by this country in modern times.

i hope some of you understand that a choice is about to be presented before you: slavery or freedom.

sadly, i'm guessing a lot of you will choose the former.

did you just put Bin Laden up there with MLK and Gandhi?

i said bin laden was a revolutionary figure who inflicted significant harm against america, striking right at its financial epicenter.

you would buy yourself some credibility if you stopped preaching on a messageboard. after you log off today, you're gonna put on your work uniform, clock in for 6 hours, then come home and post here.

you're not saying anything new and you're not inspiring shyt. do something about it, that's how people will listen.

right now you're just posting transcripts of dime a dozen youtube videos

even if you call it inconsequential chatter on a nondescript message forum overlooked by the majority of the human population, my voice is reaching some people here. that's better than reaching no one, is it not? open your eyes.

i think capt crunch nailed it when he said we are living an illusion. any new revolution has to start with that in mind, a call for folks to wake up out of it and stop supporting it. revolution has to be unthinkable, something for which there is no preparation or safeguards in place. what malcolm, martin, ghandi, and nelson did will never be done again to the same effect. nothing done already can be revolution, its already history. oppression is hip to all that now. prime example - occupy wall street. what useful or revolutionary change has it affected?

occupy wallstreet was a start, a beginning of a nascent movement that could very well become a more vocal -- violent? -- campaign as things get worse. i already said that someone is going to have to raise their hand and sacrifice themselves for this fight. as it stands, we're all cowards, frightened of the obvious toll that will be exacted upon our flesh if we truly wish to be free.

i don't agree that there can never be another malcom or ghandi or mlk. as long as free will exists, there will always be a possibility of that lone voice which goes against the tide.

An evolution in the 2012 or beyond has to be a full blown takeover and overthrow of our government.

Anything less is bullshyt.

you'll have no disagreement from me. the current system has to be toppled. and nikkas -- here and everywhere else -- must wake up. we are presently living in genocidal conditions (for not just blacks, but every class beneath the very wealthy).

imo, his music doesn't reflect the revolutionary mindset many attribute to him. it's west coast riding music sprinkled with occasionally insightful lyrics. i want to believe, and perhaps i need to listen to more of his discography. but, i remember the videos this dude put out, and the people he rode with. that's why i'm unconvinced 2pac was a real fighter on behalf of the people in this struggle. he struck me as an opportunist.

thanks for that video, tho.

He was using Tact...if he came out like Mos Def and all them other dudes he woulda been completely ignored.

What good is speaking the truth if no one is listening. He was making people listen.

The only way to achieve this is to have someone persuade the people that they are powerful enough to overthrow the powers that be, and provide them with a blueprint of what will and needs to happen afterwards. 2pac was talking about creating a nation for all of the oppressed peoples, and if he were still alive he would :pacspit: at all the rappers that are on now for not continuing his legacy and just keeping their money to themselves instead of helping their own people out.

Didn't say one of his followers(listeners) would be one of the last people to change the world or something?
