I wanted to bump this thread because I just finished watching Antwone Fisher for the first time just now and I can't lie this film made me feel some type of way. This is a reap inspirational film, I guess mainly because I can relate to several parts of The movie being a young black man struggling with life... Its also the epitome of black excellence and Derek Luke is an exceptional actor I wish he was in more stuff.

I recommended everyone on this forum to watch this flick

The movie was good but the book was better.

I disagree. One of the few movies I liked better than the book. IMO the book dragged at times. The movie did a good job of highlighting the interesting parts and flowed well.
