Certainly not what I want to hear, but we've seen this playbook before. It has all to do with the perceptions of Zimbabwe by China, Russia, UK,Japan, US, France, and Germany

Being economically ostracized by the UN,
label by UN as having a corrupt government,
global economy actively avoiding your country ,
having UN sanctions applied against you,
there's nothing Zimbabwe could do but to take the necessary steps to be in "good faith" with the UN, thus white farmers get compensated and Mugabe inviting white farmers back

Unlike Israel, North Korea, Syria, Germany (after WW2), there are no superpowers currently or historically, willing to nurture/protect African countries
Any efforts to shift power and control to African countries is undermined by the aforementioned superpowers, Qaddafi
There are no UN sanctions on Zimbabwe. It’s Western sanctions are not even that broad but mostly focused on the individual assets of Goverment officials there. What they want a return of are donor funds and Western investment.

Everyone knew this was coming... as soon as Mugabe is no longer in the picture. Britain has been wanting him gone for years now

Primarily due to the issue with white farmers

It’s not the 20th century, Britain can’t even manage its relationship with Europe much less project power in a country they’ve been shut out of for a decade plus. Mugabe being forced to step down has zip to with Britain and much more to do with Zim politics and politics of ZANU-PF in particular. That a new President would want to attract back Western investment and donor funds is unsurprising.

Yes. In the next paragraph he says the land transfers are non-negotiable. But Coli brehs are so desperate to claim Zim is reverting to colonial rule because they dared to get rid of a 94 year old Presidenf.

No one thinks Mugabe was a good leader, however you'd have to be incredibly naïve to really think that black Zimbabwean farmers are not going to be negatively affected by this.

Are you suggesting he will seize farms and distribute them to white farmers? I bet my Coli account that will not happen.

you say its a chess move then say "I don’t think he’ll live up to any of these stated promises anyway.":mjlol:

you just they bytch punk ass:umad:

im from the uk and dont have a white orge, i got me a real queen :umad::umad:

I’m saying he’ll say he’s going to do some of these things (getting investors guards down and wallets open) but probably won’t down the stretch. Most politicians don’t deliver big promises if you’ve noticed.

You and your c00n family willingly immigrated to your slave master’s plantation like the ubsequious queen loving (you finance her lifestyle with the pennies you make while she has accounts in offshore tax havens :mjlol:) tea sipping c00n K fakkits you are. “Real kween” :mjlol: or not, you definitely have white people in your family :umad: ; you being with a black girl makes you the exception and you know this :sas2:. UK blacks are WORLD FAMOUS for their c00ning :wow:.

The UK has never done anything for blacks (moved out of poverty in the islands only to still be impoverished in England smh) but you love white people so much, you choose to live there even though your existence is one continuous L. Only going to get worse since the UK is a sinking ship (fell from top 5 economy to not mentioned at all :wow:). Enjoy Brexit and mediocrity, you tea drinking, crumpet eating gay accented hoe :umad:.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if that happened but that wasn't what I was suggesting. I was suggesting that the market will be skewed by uneven private AND government investment for these white farmers.

I find it ironic that non-Zimbabweans on here from AAs, Haitians, Jamaicans, etc act like they are more concerned than the actual Zimbabweans I am seeing online. Are you guys actually concerned about Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans? Or is this another, "see! see! Africans are so dumb! Da White man gonna take their land!"

Going by what @Northern Son said(who is an actual Zimbabwean), it doesn't seem like they are getting their farms back. And going deeper into this here is what I actually found and what he actually said. Let me clear up some things.

Zimbabwe’s new president Emmerson Mnangagwa offers money to white farmers

Zimbabwe’s new president Emmerson Mnangagwa offers money to white farmers

1. I read nothing about him giving back the farm land to those White Farmers.

2. He is clearly doing this to get the sanctions lifted. Which makes sense otherwise how else would the economy grow?

3. Even if Whites were giving their farm land back and they cornered the agriculture sector(which is doubtful), there is still the mining sector in Zimbabwe which is a big money maker and economic boost. Botswana became the most stable country in Africa mostly off of just diamonds. Zimbabwe on the other hand has more than just diamonds and more the human capital.

4. Lastly I find it funny that all these posters ignore the fact that Mugabe wanted to invite these White farmers back. Let me post this L since some of you guys like ignoring it.

^^That was 2 years ago when Mugabe was in charge.

Very well said. Completely with you here.

Mugabe was 93 years old :what: You think his wife was as militant as he was? She was so openly corrupt her nickname was Gucci, his kids were posting on Insta popping bottles and wearing $21K watches.

Did y'all think he was going to live forever? :what: Then hand it off to other militants? He was handing it off to his family.

And their people are literally starving to death :what: They're pouring so much money into their nuclear program they can't even afford to feed the army.
When was your last trip to North Korea then?

I saw a North Korean only 1 time in my entire life. She was working in a restaurant in Beijing, she was a young girl, taller than all the other Chinese girls, she was as surprised to see a black person as I was to see a North Korean, she didn’t look like she was starving

I lived in Asia for 3 years. Spent months and months in Korea, talked to several defectors who've showed me pictures they smuggled out, seen smuggled out video of the land in complete disrepair, images of the labor camps (literal death camps), the Kim family is a wantonly corrupt autocratic dictatorship that makes an active attempt to stamp out dissent and prevent people from dissenting and fleeing the country, which is illegal to do BTW unless you go to China on a work visa because you are in the upper echelon of NK society where you are afforded that luxury.

They have no markets, the govt sanctioned ones are often empty, the black market ones function with rice and corn. They have minimal protein, their crops are worse every year because they have to tithe to the govt and the land gets little infrastructural upgrades if any at all because their entire GDP goes to the military. I've seen kids who fled begging on the streets in Paju and Seoul. I've stood on the DMZ and you can see the fake propaganda town they put up across the river, you can see the seems in the fake buildings if you look from the right telescope. They find the frozen bodies of children who tried to cross the river into China almost daily to the point where shyt ain't even news.

The people there are dying. :picard: It has nothing to do with cac nonsense, they are being exploited by their own government and abandoned by South Korea and China because the cost of reunification is so absurdly high that everybody I ever spoke too in my time abroad laughed about it ever being possibility.

It's a sad place. :wow:

You should share some of these photos with us or maybe you should just share a photo of yourself from your 3 years in South Korea ?

I prefer to actually follow @Diasporan Royalty take on these things since he doesn’t seem to be purely reactionary and actually try to understand and get the facts straight in regards to issues. Especially black African issues. But it seems like a lot of folks have their narrative and agenda and reading right past what he is saying.
