I don't think things are as bad as this article wants to make it out to be

Maybe you should read the article

“Among nearly 1 million students who started at a community college in 2016, just one in seven earned a bachelor’s degree within six years, according to data from the National Student Clearinghouse.

One of the biggest obstacles is known as credit loss: when students take classes that never end up counting toward a degree.”

Maybe things have changed. But there's two ways, that I know of, to do CC. Get an associates or matriculate. The latter the CC knows exactly what classes and what grades you need for the credits to transfer over.

So if they're not graduating, then either the counselors aren't doing their job or the students aren't seeing their counselors like they're supposed to.

Yeah...credit loss isn't really an issue for the people that are gonna get a degree.

The whole metric is flawed for Community College. Most ppl that attend are working more than they're going to school

Hold up breh address his response.

I was a product of community college, and I dealt with some fukk shyt and misinformation.

However my biggest issue was working while going school. Instead of just going to school.

Most people that I saw mess up in community college was largely because they were working too much, so they couldn’t keep up school.

Ultimately their part time job in retail turned into full time, then they fell behind their studies.
