this is very true. but im sure the FO was so bad at negotiating that they couldn't find a better deal

EDIT: so apparently in addition to the draft capital they gave up, they also gave up PBJ. So Poole, PBJ, a protected 1st and a second round pick for ONE 38 year old chris paul :aicmon:

I dont really care about PBJ, it's just hilarious what we had to give up for one player who is close to 40 years old than 30

You also need to take into account with Poole’s money off the books and Paul’s got 0 money guaranteed to him after this upcoming year, with Klay being a FA it makes it way easier for the Warriors to avoid the second apron penalties that are being phased in.

This new CBA is gonna make a lot of teams do very interesting things going forward

Personnel wise the trade makes little sense...Financially it makes perfect sense

yeah that's true. Klay being an expiring and CP0 being owed nothing makes the money work

I mean they’re still obviously re-signing Draymond so it’s not like they’ll have a bunch of room but there was no shot of getting under the apron with Poole on the team
Strong agree. The second they gave Poole that bloated contract, it was gonna be tough. U don’t give a guard who only looks to score THAT much money. Draymond’s a terrible person objectively, but the organization will never choose someone else over him unless it’s Steph

I never understood this from the outside looking in. Is it required for players to follow their teammates on socials? I know there’s some athletes who “follow” nobody publicly.

It's amazing how in celeb world, unfollowing somebody is supposed to be seen as a huge insult. You letting them and the world know "I don't F with you."

It's hilarious to me cause I follow a lot of folks on social media that I don't really eff with. How am I gon get revenge if I don't keep them close and know whats happening with them? :jbhmm:

FOLLOWED AND UNFOLLOWED
ARE 2 DIFFERENT THINGS...

IF YOUVE NEVER FOLLOWED
SOMEBODY THERE ISNT AN ISSUE...

BUT IF YOU DO FOLLOW SOMEBODY
THEN UNFOLLOW THEM
THERES OBVIOUSLY A PROBLEM.
