I've made this argument before but he was more Klingon than any of the klingons with nobility. Literally every Klingon with power was corrupted except worf.

Yep, there’s a reason after the show he had a ton of power within the empire and is basically one of the most respected to ever live. Despite his house being outcasted over lies told by another house he stayed true to his Klingon roots

I dont even see those movies as Star Trek really. Trek is about science and the examination of the human spirit and the old question, what is our purpose in the universe?

And real Star Trek examines social issues, slavery, war, religion and tries to answer questions on a philosophical level.

Those movies are nothing but Michael Bay productions with the name Star Trek slapped on it.

I felt the same way about Picard. Star Trek was never an action show like these new shows try to be. Trek was a science philosophy show that had action in it.
