This is dead on. :salute:

Playing Devil's Adovcate, Darius could have killed that noise had he just spoke his heart and said what he felt when Nina foolishly tried to play her game. While it doesn't defend her thottish decisions, it would have never come to that if one of them had just said what they felt. There's a major message about navigating this dating world bullshyt right there. People play too much out of fear of being hurt/vulnerable. Understandable, but sometimes you gotta jump on out there. If you feel it, say it and let it fall where it may.

Yeah. Darius wasn't much better.

Honestly, sans the woman in Darius' circle and the bald dude who was M/C-ing poetry night, it could be argued that most everybody had thottish tendencies if it came to it.

Birds of a feather, you know?

Exactly. Darius should have Just been h onest would have avoided all that from the jump. But ego and pride is a muthafukka and this is whats happening today

Completely agree.Learned this but ,it wasn't until I was older I learned it. I remember before I met my wife face to face(because we met on a dating app) we talked a ton on the phone before we physically met. I told her I wasn't looking for nothing serious I'm focus on me etc. Once we finally met her in person the physical tied into the mental and I really wanted her(for more than some fukk buddy, friend, or whatever). When we spoke later that we she passed the comment about me being her play cousin that she could just be cool with because she thought I was a cool person. That moment I said I'm not trying to be your play cousin, I'm trynna see where this go! It completey changed things. She went from saying I don't want to get caught up, to I know I like him he likes me. Four years later we married lol.

Just got to watching this movie… sorry, it was traaaaaash!!!!

It started off promising. But riddle me this… Breh still got ol girl’s address from the store, even though he was told he couldn’t have it… so that woman breeched data privacy laws.

And THEN, he turns up at her doorstep after she already rejected him. Most normal women would call the police. Not only did she let him inside, but she smashed him too. WTF? Not only is she clearly unstable but she makes poor decisions too.

Breh was way too eager to track down her address. I don’t care how fine a woman is, that’s creep level behavior. I understand these things are done to push the sorry forward but that scenario is completely unrealistic. Even if the guy looks like a “model”, any sane woman would be creeped out.

And I didn’t even get to her smashing her ex, and then smashing Bill Bellamy. But of course women are staying on code and are defending her behavior. Birds of a feather. :mjlol:

This movie was severely underwhelming. I wasn’t truly invested in any of the characters. It’s shot beautifully but it’s another case of style of substance.

Breh, that wouldn’t have been allowed nor sociably acceptable back then. Getting a woman’s address illegally, following her home And then knocking on her door? The 90s are not that far removed from today.

Yeah. It literally says in Dating for Dummies you have to stalk a chick to pull her.
