Was Meek Mill’s Drake diss really that bad? I never thought it was trash as people said.

Meek was exposing Drake all thru that “I wanna know” track.

Drake’s starpower is just too strong to be knocked off. The rules dont appy to him. It got to a point where even the og rappers were caping for Drake using ghostwriters.

Meek got clowned so much on social by the time he dropped that record it didn't matter much.

He had to drop an "Ether" level type of track to redeem himself at that time.

Edit: I felt that "War Pain" was better, but again the damage was already done.

War Pain was basically Blueprint 2 Status.
It was a good record but the damage was already done.

The most scathing thing about this record is the reveal that he got pissed on and did nothing :mjlol:
But like I said the damage was already done so no one really cared.

Meek dropped the ball with the diss. And the mix on the song was terrible. Still forever grateful for Meek telling the world the truth about the ghostwriter. Imagine if that never got out how much more lauded would Drake be right now?

And that was Meek's biggest problem that whole beef.

He shot first and asked questions last. He went into that beef strictly based off emotion and no strategy.
I don’t think he was planning to rap battle. I think it was just a high Twitter rant lol
