ok I see.

can you elaborate on what more of "middle eastern descent" means?

like phenotypically give me a modern day person that you'd say Tut looked similar to
Hmm.. probably one of these darker skin tone egyptians.

Mind you i will be the first to tell you I am not that knowledgeable on THIS particular subject. I'm just saying a lot of black people, whenever it;s time to take pride in their african heritage, seem to only reference Egypt as their origins. As if Egypt is all of Africa or was the only

THis is one example

Personally i know my ancestors probably came from somewhere near what is now Guinea or Guinea Bisseau. But most black people i meet here point to pahroahs as their ancestry

Did you read the thread? There are numerous mentions and break downs of other great African empires. Also, most Black people mention Ancient Egypt because it's the only one the White education system has taught them. Did you learn about Kush, Mali Empire, Axum, Timbuktu, Zulu Kingdom, Ashanti Empire, and Carthage from your school system? For most Blacks, it's the only thing they teach us and we rightfully cling to it.

Also, your "dark skinned Egyptian" comments make you look incredibly dumb because they were multiple shades, including "dark skinned." Many Pharaohs have been shown to have West African and Sub-Saharan ancestry so why would it be hard for a Black American to believe they might come from that. Shyt we don't know our lineage anyways, so might as well take pride in something.

We really don't know where the black side of us originated since we can be a mix of different tribes. Also, tribes most likely mixed with other tribes in all of Africa, so unless you are referring to recent times we will never know where our true origins are from in Africa. Dna test aren't really a good indicator since it can't find out our families origin being that so many people in your tree can make it hard to find everyones.origin.

They talk about egypt because it was one of the.greatest civilizations.ever known, and it has structures still around that no one knows how they were.created. It's something to be highly proud of. I do agree we should learn about other places in African history as well.

This is the exact point i'm trying to make here. Egypt is just a small part of Africa. Yes it was one of the greatest civilizations and should be aknowledged but it's not the whole africa.

It's like an American from some small townn in Alabama going to a foreign country and they keep asking him about where he's from and all the sudden he's talking like he's repping New York

Why do people ask these questions when the egyptians left pictures of themselves all over the walls in their chambers. You can see they were black but what really let it be known is the HAIR. We are the only people with wooley hair in such a high abundance. Damn near all of us have kinky hair. Do google image search of king tut buriel and you will see he and everyone else weren't european or what we call arabics today. You don't need dna tests, which can be manipulated, to find out.the truth.

No matter what evidence is shown there are some people (mostly white) that will never accept that black people were capable of making a civilization as grand as Ancient Egypt. We've been through this dance a million times. You can pull up every quote from dudes in Ancient Greece and Rome saying the Egyptians had black skin and wooly hair. You can pull up DNA tests, mummies, tombs, wall painting, etc. None of this will convince them. Why? Because they (and even us) have been ingrained from the time we were born that black people are inferior to whites and incapable of doing anything for themselves. This thinking is so ingrained in the American psyche that no amount of evidence will convince them.

Just think about this. For a white person to accept Egypt was black, they would have to go from believing black people are inferior creatures at the bottom of the human totem pole one spot above chimps and gorillas to realizing that they were the originators of human civilization!!! Now that is too big a mountain for the white psyche to climb.

Hell I remember being a kid looking at some book on Ancient Egypt and asking my mom what race were the Egyptians even though Egypt was in fukkin Africa. My momma nearly slapped me upside my head and said they were black people of course. What the hell do you think people from Africa are like? And I thought to myself, no way nikkas coulda made the pyramids. Even as a black kid who was raised in a proud black household even I was not immune from the power of white supremacy. Now imagine what it is like for white kids, who don't have black parents to tell them the truth in a world that continues to say that black people are inferior beings.

This whole concept of the Pharaohs being African is crazy. They were Egyptian and just because Egypt is part of the continent doesnt mean they are part of the race color on that continent.
Egypt's start is a story of a mix of Arabs who found a beautiful stretch of land to fertilize and build an empire on. They aren't africans.
If anything Egypt is started with blood from other continents.
man if you don't sit the entire fukk down with this.

This topic is way too depth for you.

I don't understand why my black brothers and sisters don't see this yet. The same reason they discredit a lot of info on Hidden Colors, they need white daddy to tell them about history or it isn't true.

Nikka say this shyt again. I was watching some show on the History channel about ancient structures. They were in chile or Uruguay and looking at these stone structures that were precisely carved and placed together to create these walls. They are hundreds of years old and they are still strong and functional. The cac on there had the audacity to suggest aliens created those walls, because he couldn't believe the little brown people that lived during that time period were smart enough to create those structures. He was all like they would need to have advanced levels of mathematics and geometry to put something like this together.:comeon:

There are some cacs that are even suggesting Aliens build them pyramids.:comeon:
