He had a very fair request with the visa claim. I'd envision Something like Israel has for Jewish people where all foreigners of Jewish descent can enter Palestine .


It won't even backfire for them. I guarantee that any black person paying the entire yearly salary for one of your citizens solely on their airfare will be a net positive to your nation.




The only issue I forsee is that I this is incredibly low on their priority list. Africans themselves can't even enter visa free into their own countries. The most progressive system seems to be the EastafricanCommunity block which is working on free movement amongst themselves of both people and goods. Same could be said for South Africa also letting most of the east African coastal nations enter freely as well as most of southern African nations. Comparitively speaking there seems to be a hard stop on west Africans entering either of these blocks freely.





So until these issues are solved among actual Africans living on the continent, I don't think they will be free to consider the plight of diasporic Africans.




Also as a final note, some of these nations get most of their forex from these visa fees. It's one of the few good sources of dollars ,pounds, yuan, and euros for these countries. So you'd still have to work this lack of forex out before they let diasporic Africans in freely. Maybe If they mandated that you pay for hotels in your home currency?

SOME COASTAL West African countries and Angola, yes.

but lets be honest, that's never happening. atleast not until they are first world nations with trillion dollar economies. only coastal west african country I see reaching trillion dollars of economy in our lifetime are Nigeria and maybe Ivory coast. but I don't think there were any slave ports in Ivory Coast so thats out of the equation.

I'm iffy on Nigeria's chances long-term. A Banana republic relying on a resource that both Asians and whites are actively trying to abolish isn't a good economic model. Even the Arab nations have been desperately trying to diversify before the world goes green. This last year's natural disasters have only intensified this desire globally.


There will obviously still be demand for petrochemicals but curde oil will be on a downturn. Even India with as messed up a nation and transit system it has, has already implemented electric car , electric busses, and electric tuktuk mandates for the next 30years like California.


So I envision Nigeria making it to 600billion gdp and then suddenly nose diving in the 2050s as the oil demand dies. If you pull up a map of Nigeria's gdp history , I envision a steep drop similar to what was seen in 1981 (oil crisis ended) and 2014 (Brent crude prise plummeted). Even more tragic than the death of the economy, will be the social upheaval that would follow such a demand-driven price drop of crude.






Unless some random tech startup appears in Ghana, Rwanda, or Kenya I think South Africa will be the only trillion dollar economy from Africa.
