The part about visa and Nigeria applies to even people born in Nigeria so, it's not discrimination. When I lost my passport and my NIN card I was told I was essentially an illegal immigrant, even with a valid birth certificate. It's a country that loves its bureaucracy and record-keeping. It has little to do with being African or not being African. It's not discrimination. That said, as I've said before, reparations is something paid out by governments and many of the current governments did not exist back then so its more of a lost cause. Paid out by individual families? That doesn't seem viable, since it opens the door to people suing for all kinds of things all over the place, including crime and so on, which would prove disastrous for some, even more so when corporations and those with deep pockets get in on it.
