Was “Death Proof” as bad as most said that it was?

I’m not a movie head like that and I don’t know the ins and outs of movies like that nor am I a Tarantino stan but to me this movie always got a bad wrap when in reality it felt like Tarantino doing what he typically does but more in depth to the grid house films he grew up admiring and watching

Next to Planet Terror, it was trash.

PT was pretty much high octane fukkery from the minute to last.

DP came off kinds perverse and boring up to the last 5-10 minutes then ends like “WTF?”

With that said….. I would put Death Proof over any movie that hack Wack Snyder made

Loved it myself especially the second part with Rosario's group of chics. McGraw always kills as the sheriff in Tarantino movies.

Death Proof is one of my favorite all time movies. It has everything great about Tarantino distilled. His best film overall other than Pulp and Kb2

It's underrated. My only issues with it is focusing too much time on the group of girls and not enough on the legend Kurt Russell. He is in his bag in this film.
