I'm sayin, why do we keep misusing the word c00n tho? Does "sambo" have too many syllables for these nikkaz?

Did yall read all his shyt? I can see why the thread was made, but he wasn't a TRUE c00n. There were some circumstances going on at the time, we don't have today. Sure there were black people who were more bold, who made less excuses for the atrocities inflicted upon black people --- but dude mainly just wanted his economic plans to go thru without CAC in hoods coming through and raping and killing and burning up our shyt.

Booker T. definitely was no c00n. His views may have been more palatable to white people than Dubois but that by no means makes him a c00n or sell out. Both Dubois and Washington were necessary at the time. I agree with some others, c00n is thrown around too much. When I think of c00ns, cats like Larry Elder and Uncle Tom Clarence come to mind.

I'm only upset if people truly feel like this in real life. I'm not mad I'm concerned about my generation of black males imposing division between each other by using a word they don't even know the true meaning and significance of...But anyone who replies to a legitimate issue with a Camron smiley shouldn't be taken serious.

When we spoke about white people - it was as if he sucked a white woman titty and made it sag as a baby. He even makes it seem that white people weren't evil doing his time - like they just loved him and would love any of us that got a 'proper' education or assimilated to the welcoming arms of the white american.
Overall he ignore social inequalities... and that's his biggest flaw - and that's y i said I understand how this thread could be made - despite me thinking he probably wasn't a c00n, at least not like the c00ns we have here on THE Coli.
I would completely agree w Washington if he was also talking about segregation from mainstream society - but he wanted us to ignore inequalities... focus on education, and live and deal w all the BS that comes w living amongst a people who don't want u.
Plus he was born a slave - I think he can get a few passes and excuses. Plus all 3 of his wives weren't "pawgs" they were black women (all mixed irish english n shyt..... but still black) He thought the only way we could make it is with white peoples help and support. But he was born a slave, Idk what nikkas excuses are today. For thinking that way, or for even using the word nikka, lol.
