The Lakers Kobe an shaq had the second best dynasty.

They bounced the spurs who won 2 titles in the era with Duncan an Robinson
They beat sac with webber, Bobby, vlade,
Beat reggie Miller in the finals who took the bulls to 7 games, beat Iverson, and Jason kidd all hall of famers

Losing a 20+ point lead at home like that was the difference between him and Jordan. Even though he won two more that shyt deader the argument. Maybe if he threepeated on the backend with and not lost to the Mavs it’s different but that 08 debacle never should have happened.

The squad around Kobe was trash though...

They were all soft except for Kobe and Ariza (who went out with an injury)

I think about that and Kwame Brown not securing a rebound to best the Suns in 5 in 2006..

Lakers would have faced the clippers in the next round and Mavs in the WCF..

There was a chance to see Kobe vs. Shaq/Wade finals.

Lakers only 3peated with the help of Donaghy.

Bulls only 3peated because of a weak era they played in.

:yeshrug:

Warriors beating the 2nd best player ever 3 times in 5 years and forcing him to run to the same conference to avoid another L > Any of those Kobe/Shaq and MJ rings

You legit just explained how Bron's mentally weak ass could never be the second best player of all time.

I hold Kobe in high regard tho, for all the points you’re making Kobe still could’ve won. It’s ok, he’s still a five time champion but he could’ve been a 6 or 7 time champ.

Breh :martin:

Curry looks like a freshman yet has the highest deadlift on his team. He is in elite shape and probably covers more track than any other player in the league.

Klay had been an ironman up to this point and only had one season under 73 games played.

2 of them succumbed to freak injuries, not to mention that Steph and Klay have been through 5 straight Finals playoff runs which none of the Bulls did.

Scottie back was toast in '98 and Dennis missed over 15 games twice with the Bulls. MJ also missed an entire season because of a broken foot, same as KD.

As Kobe demonstrated, you can take excellent care of yourself to help stave off injuries but it really comes down to luck and genetics.

As a Bulls fan, yes I am petty and I am kinda glad that gsw came up short. But its not what you think. Im really irked by how the whole organization basically guilt KD into coming back too soon and now he's already gonna miss a whole season. What happened to Klay was also a crushing blow. But i really feel like they got too fukking greedy and basically wanted to have a 3peat so badly that they threw caution on the wind and it cost them in the long run.

Its ironic seeing a player like KD sacrificing his body knowing well he wasnt ready only to get hurt whilst Kawhi refusing to return to the court in his last year as a Spur because he knew it wasnt worth it and getting shade from his own teammates and organization.

Protect yourself first!

I'm petty as well. I didn't want the warriors getting a three year either!
