To me what Symba is talking bout is not what I view as a ghostwriter in rap music. Hooks, concepts, vocal producing etc is fair game in my book.

Snoop's pen was still sharp at the time. He wrote some of Dre's verses on the Chronic like the 2 biggest songs from the album
Nuthin but a g thang and Let me ride plus a few others like lil ghetto boy too. I think he started really using ghostwriters later on after No Limit. Even DOC always says he helped him make songs, instead of just a bunch of rapping. He never says he wrote for Snoop.
