The DOC wrote all of Snoop’s early rhymes. RBX wrote some of Dre’s rhymes on the Chronic. Cube wrote Eazy E’s early rhymes. Etc… No one cares at this point because the music was dope and performed well by the “artists” who took credit for the work.

:yeshrug:

The DOC wrote an entire Eazy album that went double platinum..for a gold chain.
He was also Dre's main wordsmith.

On the real they ain't got shyt to say about anything in the 2000s on up. It's like dudes who peaked in high school still talking about it 30 yrs later. Some straight Al Bundy and his "4 touchdown game"shyt.

Suge (and Dre) had first dibs on Warren and passed him over for Snoop and Nate.

When Warren has Indo Smoke back in the Poetic Justice days they could’ve put him on. Russell scooped him up and it was a brilliant decision that saved Def Jam.

Suge has always felt some kind of way about it because Def Jam ate like kings off of the Regulate single and then the album blew it. It would’ve been a great Death Row release and picture those songs without The Twinz (and whoever else) and the whole Death Row crew on it. Picture Rage on Super Soul Sis.

Suge and Dre messed up and Warren made a decision that gave him a ton of flexibity and if we are keeping it 100, he had a nice run with his first 3 albums (94, 97, 99) and those had hits that could’ve been under the Death Row umbrella.

At this point it doesn’t even matter what a man who will be locked up for life has to say. He’s not the boogie man anymore and looks weaker every day. Hell, it’s crazy that Reggie Wright is more relevant than Suge.
