That's just not true. Yes it is a Grindy game (and Destiny isn't???) but unlike destiny you can actively target what you're grinding for, and what planets to farm the material from to get the weapons/warframes you need. Destiny you put in the same if not even more of a grind for even less of a chance to get something useful. 50 hours into the game I'm on my 3rd warframe and have been crafting so many weapons I am out of inventory slots to make more. Without spending a cent, spending money in warframe is mostly only for cosmetic additions. Any weapon and frame can be crafted with a reasonable grind for free since you can target what planets will drop the pieces you need. Compare that tot he RNG shytstorm of destiny

Let me just clarify on the grind. Destiny has weekly gates on everything worth grinding. Raids, high level PoE, Trials now, Weeklys, etc. You play, turn it off, wait til next week because you've done all you can do.

Warframe. You're getting PSO lootdrops. Yes, you know exactly where to get certain drops, but that doesn't mean that is in any way easier to get. You can be running a survival mission dozens of times for a fukking blueprint. NOT THE WEAPON. NOT THE PART. THE fukkING BLUEPRINT. God help you if you're trying to make a dual-wield.

And don't make me get started on the Tower/void shyt you and I both know that the mid and late game stuff in warframe is nothing anyone wants to talk about

So its just a matter of what you're able to deal with better. Honestly, I feel the gameplay for Destiny shyts all over Warframe and thats my main reason for sticking to Destiny right now (taking a break because the grind demands it). But you can outright buy most stuff in Destiny

One thing I will say if you don't have a steady group to play with then your not gonna enjoy destiny it's not a game for loners .

The same can be said for Warframe.

Anyway, I have long held the view that this game plays better than Destiny. 60fps and very smooth and varied gunplay..

On PC maybe. Warframe was a mess on console until the last major update a few months back. It still has regular slowdowns on late game defense missions.

I like Warframe, but eh... its an entirely different kind of grind. One that you'd typically only find acceptable in real MMOs and mobile games (drop rate fukkery and 'build times').

I have extensive playtime in both and destiny >>>>> warframe

The only 2 ps4 games I've really invested time in.
Warframe was my day 1 up until destiny. Both share a lot of similarities but you won't ever be higher lvl in warframe unless you either grind literally hundreds of hours or pay hundreds of dollars. You can max out in destiny in a day or two.

And random rewards plus the drop system is wayyyyyy better than playing a survival for 40+ minutes dozens of times just to get ONE part of a warframe to drop.

You have to pay money for color packs and such

Either way destiny has become the hip thing to hate on now a days but all people do is bring more attention to the game

Most of the guns don't even mesh with the mobility that Warframe emphasizes.
