I think they're really trying to capture the mainstream audience with their marketing. This trailer seemed very cliche/generic fantasy film but given Duncan Jones' filmography so far, his movies usually have good emotional depth to them.

i never got into warcraft so from a casual fan perspective it looked alright. i dont know how the games work but its cool they'll tell the orcs side of the story too. cgi looked weird to me though

lol, at the peak of WoW's popularity more than 50% of its subscribers came from Asia. It's going to kill the box office there.

this is building up to sequals this looks more like Warcraft 1 / 2 than based off World of Warcraft. The next sequel should introduce the undead and night elfs

for the people thinking itll flop - Blizzard is the biggest gaming company of all time and World of Warcraft is the most successful game of all time.. they dont need main stream to support it to make hundreds of millions, they just need their fans to show out. Mainstream going to watch it thinking its some Avengers type shyt will just be icing on the cake.

Im guessing 600-700 million at box office.
