Yeah that's what they are saying, but I'm starting to think he borrowed Mike Zombies flow on started from the bottom. He probably gave him the beat with the chorus and verses already done and Drake changed it up.

Listen to this track, fast forward to 1:05 mark, it's the exact same voice/flow as started from the bottom

And whats even more strange is that Drake signed dude, and we haven't heard from him since. He only produced one track for him

Mike Zombie didn't give him the chorus, Future did. He heard Future say "start it from the bottom" in the studio and took it without even telling Future, then gave him a bottle of Louis XIII instead of giving him publishing :mjlol:

"When he made the record, he was in a studio session with me. It was for 'Chosen One'." Future explained. The Freebandz rapper revealed that the iconic title came from a misunderstanding. "So when we was at the studio, Drake came by, and I always tell my engineer 'start it from the bottom'. Drizzy mistook this for the title of the track. "He was waiting for me in "Chosen One" to say 'started from the bottom'." said Future.

Apparently when Drake left the session, he still had the phrase in his head. Future recalled what the Toronto rapper had told him about the refrain. "'Started From The Bottom' just stayed in my mind." said Drake, who began the writing process on the car ride home. "I instantly got with the driver, and put the CD in. I already had the beat. And just started saying "Started from the bottom, now we here."

"I'm like why didn't you tell me in the studio?!" Future joked, revealing that Drake had bought him some expensive liquor to thank him for the idea. "He bought me a bottle of Louis XIII that I never opened because of this." he said, suggesting playfully that he deserved a writing credit. "I said, I don't want a bottle I need publishing!"

Meek claims he heard the reference track for the RICO verse and outed him shortly after. :manny:

If someone outshine me on my album and i found out they stole the bars/flow I would probably be salty too. To be 100
Nah there's another video that was posted where meek was overseas talking to some dj saying how he and his crew found out some rappers don't write their bars, and if he said who, everyone would go crazy. So he been sitting on that info for a minute.

My problem is that people are letting one or two reference tracks invalidate & discredit Drake's entire discography like he had absolutely nothing to do with his own career. It's funny how people like you want to say "he can't be in the GOAT debate if he has ghostwriters" but let's just be honest and admit Drake wasn't going to be in your GOAT debate anyway. Let y'all tell it he sings too much, he's too emo, etc. y'all were discrediting him before this & are gonna continue to discredit him after this without knowing the whole story.

Drake and his fans were going around touting him as a great rapper. Once you are exposed as having ghosts all that talk is dead.

The fact that these stans went from he would never have ghost/meek is lying to "well it's only 1 song everybody does it" is the most damming part.

Even they know shyt is fuked up but like a side bytch they capin

There's no link. They signed non-disclosure paperwork. One of the dudes is making serious cake ghost-producing for all sorts of people, hip hop, r&b, indie rock too. He's mega-talented, but his image ain't up to par for mainstream consumption. The industry is full of people like him - they write the hits and do the production for the Drake's and Kanye's of the world.
I'm curious breh...can you PM me? Are these two kids also in their own duo? If so I have an idea who they are.
