I'm sure he is breh but it's just a thing I have about using ghostwriters..especially using a reference track where someone is doing your cadence for you. Lupe talked about people taking sides in the argument and I guess I'm on the side that says there's no room for someone else to be your pen if you really want to be the best to ever do it

My problem is that people are letting one or two reference tracks invalidate & discredit Drake's entire discography like he had absolutely nothing to do with his own career. It's funny how people like you want to say "he can't be in the GOAT debate if he has ghostwriters" but let's just be honest and admit Drake wasn't going to be in your GOAT debate anyway. Let y'all tell it he sings too much, he's too emo, etc. y'all were discrediting him before this & are gonna continue to discredit him after this without knowing the whole story.

It kinda does discredit his discography. There's always a question of what did he write and what did he not write.

I'm sure he'll be fine as far as his career goes, but its impossible to give him the same respect you'd give a real MC
