i agree with this. im no drake stan at all, but i dont think he NEEDS writers, but when you get to the top and your obligations start to be much more than music, you cant sit and write all the time like you could before. rappers today try hard to build a brand and get endorsements, branch into films, have clothing lines, invest in start up businesses or start their own. i can understand if you have your fingers in a lot of pies and buying a few verses probably eases the load a bit
