:mindblown::whoa: The breaking bad hype has reached a breaking point. There is no way he is the best character in Tv history. The main problem with breaking bad is it is suspense, thriller and action first before drama. As a result the depth of the character suffer.
Do you watch breaking bad or just skim through it ??

Man I hated this dude so much but the show makes you like him and despite what he's done makes you want him to survive. His trial was on some epic OJ Simpson shyt. Lee Adama killed the fukk out of that court room with his speech.

"You should have died on New Caprica but since you had the temerity to live we're gonna execute you now! That's justice!" :damn:

Crowd like: :lupe: :ohlawd: :dwillhuh:

Baltar: :obama:

The verdict

Baltar: :wow:

Roslin: :beli:

They wrapped his character up real nice too. Also it helped that he was the best actor on the show.

I'm 37. The vast majority of old school GOAT contenders had very little character development if we're going by your standards.

Also I would put characters from "The Wire", "The Sopranos", "Breaking Bad", "Mad Men", etc. up against any TV show from any year. There's a reason this is considered the Golden Age for TV.

Fred.

Basically, in your age range and I wouldn't put any character from the 80's up with the stuff I've seen in the last decade, outside of maybe Hill Street Blues and that was really about the police station if you think about it. Maybe Miami Vice comes close (don't sleep young kids).

Really great TV show character came about in the mid-late 90's.

I wouldn't put Walter at #1 but I got him in the top 10. Top 5 even.
