He had a decent NBA career as well. And really being decent at basketball isn't even necessary to be a commentator. Jim Spanarkel played like 4 unspectacular years and is still getting commentator checks.

Sports discourse man. Wtf are we doing He’s the second youngest guy there on a team full of 30+ year olds. He won. He was always slated to be the odd man out minutes wise and that’s fine. Prime harden and Westbrook were both barely playing for the 2012 team. That same team had AD and he was collecting DNP’s.
