That's because you're a selfish prick. If it was something that benefitted you you'd want it bur bc you have no interest in this topic you're indifferent about it.
I’m not parent material, so I’m not going to bring a child into this world knowing that I have no interest in doing so or know what I wouldn’t be a good parent.

If that makes me a selfish prick, then so be it :yeshrug:

"They’re lonelier, too, according to cited data from health insurer Cigna. In a 2021 survey, 65% of parents said they were lonely, compared with 55% of those without kids."

During the Pandemic you would have thought loneliness was something exclusive to "broke, single males" and certainly not a product of Americas individualism push and hustle culture:coffee:

We need to encourage nested communities, extended families etc. Black folks and many minorities get it.

When I start a family I do intend on moving back to Atlanta or at least have my mother be closer to me but in all likliness it'll be me moving to them.

We can't expect the government to do this for us. We also need more maternity/paternity leave. Luckily I get a decent amount in tech but I know that not true with other industries.
This is called FAMILY PLANNING.

Bravo.

Just for clarification, we can juxtapose this with the Nick and Cam thread.

This breh isn’t haphazardly spilling his seed in a bunch of women. He’s factoring in the paternity leave he receives because of his career, moving closing to family, etc.

The title is a bit misleading, giving readers the impression that he's saying parenting is the problem. The whole point is the lack of support parents have, and that's the problem.
I can fully understand this. My wife and I felt we had more support with raising our kids when I was in the Army than we have after I got out.
:francis:

Hardly any family friendly or community based activities. Grandparents don't want to spend time with them for 2 weeks of the summer.
:mjcry:

Luckily, we found a great church where we can all get our spiritual and social needs met.
:blessed:

When I read articles of this it makes me miss my younger cousins and growing up being 15 minutes from my aunts, uncles etc
Yea I gotta make more of an effort because when I was a kid my cousins were literally 15min away. Now I’m like 40-45min from my younger cousins. I mean their parents did choose to move further out, but I’m like damn I gotta make the drive so I can be around before they’re too grown to listen to my advice 🤣

In all fairness, the money factor with those two negates nearly all the haphazards due to lack of planning.......the issue they run into is societal stigma and how whatever portion of said society chooses to judge them or place their moral structure onto them

In speaking on those two it wouldn't be men who think like them but men who ACT in the same vein as they do. I can almost guarantee those two don't bat an eyelash when they here the next one is baking........it's probably expected and welcomed......vs the people of lesser means that attempt the same life choices........I guarantee they hit the franchise face when they here another one coming..........:francis:........that's that I don't know what you was expecting face........that what are we gonna do face..........that I ain't got no mo to give face......that Tyrese what more do you want from me face.......
