This is true.
Idk why I'd do with out having a million aunts and uncles and cousins on both sides. This summer I had a long line of ppl waiting to watch our kids. We also had hella kids at our house too. Parents NEED monthly breaks and help. The nuclear family is bullshyt. You need EVERYONE. The relationship between you, your kids and spouse suffer when you don't get time alone and your mental perspective on parenting suffers when you don't get breaks.

If you actually care about your kids. If you don't, it's not that hard. Disappear for a few months, show up when you feel like it. If they ask a legitimate question bark at them to shut up. Oh, again, I didn't know. We go everywhere and do everything together without too many worries in this world. Disney and Universal trips every 3-4 months (and Magic Kingdom every Christmas). Cheer competition, drama, wrestling, almost every day. On top of working and studying daily. House maintenance, cooking, and everything else with no sweat. I guess people are just mentally fragile

And if you on fence...from personal experience it's the greatest thing I've ever experienced...makes me fulfilled, makes me see things differently in a good way both personal views and society views, makes me grind harder...

I have a couple clients that are now pre retirees and retirees and wealthy.....no kids...and they are miserable. Thoughts that drove them to that in their early years were freedom and money...got to remember ur 20s 30s and 40s only half ur life or less....

Even when stuffs hard and backwards having ur kid look up to you and love you is something I can't describe...

WSJ also reports staying up late and eating ice cream and candy as an adult may not be idea.

WSJ also reports Marvel movies and wearing costumes aren't JUST for adults anymore. But kids might also like to watch these super hero movies as well.

I hate articles like this. They try to pathologize historically normal adult happenings as if they haven't been stressful for billions of humans before us. This that Millennial and GenZ shyt. :mjlol:

The article would've done better, to just suggest therapy. Nothing wrong with seeking help. But the article just came off as something that was deliberately made for open ridicule. :mjlol:
