Muthafuc the Wall Street Journal....NBA is an international Product...they dun rely solely on US TV numbers...nor do they
need to..yea the NFL is King as far the US goes..but they dun cross borders...like the Association does...4 or 5 more Larry Birds and the NBA would have buried the the NFL years ago...its a better product as well, but CACS been watering it down the same way they did the NFL....(pure offense/no hand checkin...FOH)......

Truth is the product is too black for these CACS and you can see it on the looks of their faces when they sitting court side cuz they only cocksuckas who can afford court side...but they love the game regardless...they couldn't stay away from Rock, James Brown, Hip Hop and Black dikk..and basketball ain't no different...they might not watch a whole game..stream it half the time...but they love the product...NBA is fine...its that shytbox NHL you gotta worry about...need to melanize that shyt in a hurry...LOL

:myman:

What are white people gonna do when 2/3 of The NFL has black QBs? :heh:

Will we truly ever get to that point though? We know QB is their sacred position

"Nobody else has said it, so I will. The problem is one of "color." You have very tall (with exaggerated height measurements) black dudes from the inner cities, covered by gross tattoos . Many game watchers cannot relate to these players since they are so foreign to their own environment and life style. The same demo might also be true in the NFL but they all wear protective gear that makes this much less obvious. Plus so many of the players have off the court criminal and drug issues that make them less than admirable human beings. And as most others have said, the "rules" (lack of traveling, charging, blocking calls, etc.) of the game have been so b*stardized that the game no longer resembles the game most of us grew up. Unfortunately for the NBA, many of us would rather watch a rerun of the "Hoosiers'" movie on TV than a live version of today's NBA game on TV."

:heh: The type of people who actually won't watch a sport because of race NEVER watched basketball, this cac just needed a reason to take shots at blacks, and got one

:ehh: Always knew the bolded the case. Just glad to see it confirmed.

The favor that Lebron got from his first few years in Cleveland and stint in Miami...from on court calls to being the media face of the NBA has diminished significantly. The league recognized fan fatigue over the "King James" treatment he used to get...and when he left Miami that was basically the last straw as to where now the idea of Lebron being considered a whiney diva is something the league is ok with, they never would have allowed him to have that persona in 05 or 06, he was too valuable to the league...now not so much:yeshrug:. They've got Steph Kyrie AD Wrestbrook and others to entertain relatively well. Parity. Bron brought it on himself in ways...but the league pays attention to fan sentiment.
yet every 3rd NBA commercial yesterday had Lebron starring in it.

This is all nonsense :heh:

I knew it was the case since last Super Bowl when a black man (Malcolm Butler) won the game for the Patriots but the racist New England CACs were making racist tweets about the predominantly black Seahawks. As long as the QB is white, it's all good. It helps that Gronk, Edelman and Amendola are white too

Since that day, my passion for the NFL has dimmed significantly.

Of course goofy nikka it's Christmas Day and he's playing in the highlight game. But u should recognize most of those commercials where for other endorsements. I'm not saying they threw him out...they just make sure the fans don't get the sense he's being favored IN ANY WAY...the sad thing is they're just doing the same thing but in the direction of curry now.

HE is still favored.

He just on a team thats not very good, but he is still the biggest draw in the league.

Already made thread about it (comcast) awhile ago and research shows it doesn't *sizeable decline*Expecially sports as of right now
When it comes to a sport carrying the youngest viewers, it makes complete sense.

Like I said, My living is tied media tracking and it's hard as fukk to track proper viewership due to cord cutters.

Yep

Black men do all of the "labor positions"

Fans in the stands are white and many of them are racist
The position that gets all the glory is mostly white
Coaches are white
Commissioner is white

Nah, I'll pass.

The NBA can't win for sh*t though

If the traditional powers are down like the Lakers its: "The league is boring now"
If there's alot of middle of the road teams/parity its: "The league needs to contract, no talent in the league anymore"
If a few teams have better records early in the season its: "The league is to predictable"

there is no parity. how many teams have a chance at making the finals? the bucks arent making a post season run

lakers, spurs, mavs, warriors have represented the west since i think like 99. they have to fix that. start with officiating

Come on now. :aicmon:

Even the sorry ass Clippers back then had Darius Miles, Kenyon Dooling and Elton Brand to compete with Jason Kidd's Suns.

Milwaukee had Glenn Robinson

Wizards had Rod Strickland and Mitch Richmond

Nets had Jason Williams (limo murderer)

Household names. I cant even name five NBA players right now. The drop off between the 90's and now has been HUGE.

It's just not fun anymore. :yeshrug:

Everyone is all about them. 50% of the NBA teams are :trash: That says alot.
You ole back in my day ass nikkas kill me with this dumb shyt :dead:

Dudes are just on that nostalgic tip and I understand it. I love 90s basketball. I grew up on early 00s- mid 00s NBA. I mess with that era, but I can admit there was some awful basketball back then. I don't miss it :manny:

We really pointing to Nets led Jason Williams and them bum ass underachieving Clipper Squads wit Keyon Dooling and Darius Miles :scust: as some fun era

Like people said most love to watch/talking about the most popular player/face. Nba is boring now unless .....

Cavs-Warriors draws nearly 11 million viewers

NEW YORK -- The NBA Finals rematch between Golden State and Cleveland drew nearly 11 million viewers, making it the most-watched Christmas game in four years.

The Warriors' 89-83 victory was watched by 10.9 million viewers, according to Nielsen. That was a 17 percent increase from the 9.3 million for the Cavaliers-Heat game last year that was LeBron James' return to Miami.

ESPN says Saturday that the game was the most-viewed on Christmas since 2011, which was the season opener after the lockout.

Overall, the five-game slate on ESPN and ABC was up 6 percent in viewership from 2014. Of the 13 times the NBA has played five games on Christmas, this was the first that all were decided by 10 points or fewer.
