it would do nothing for the show, if anything make people mad.
I don't compare the plight of black men and gay people but what's so hard to understand about there being a large portion of gay people who like to see people like themselves represented?
Its not like Daryl's sexual preference has been a point at all anyway. He has never shown a sexual/romantic interest in any woman on the show, he hasn't spoken about any past relationships with men or women, and considering his backstory (abusive father, Merle being a closeminded bigot) it would stand to reason that Daryl would be deep, deep, deep in the closet.
So unless they spend a whole episode on Daryl's coming out and then in every episode afterward he is discussing being gay and looking to hook up with dudes, his being "revealed" as a homosexual is not a character change in any way.
Like what exactly?Dudes talking about character development but ignoring key aspects of said character
I think the actor that plays him is homo to begin with. Any man that would accept a gay role, especially out of the blue when it wasn't his character before might as well be gay.
shut the fukk up. do you know what acting means?
Like what exactly?
Point out the overwhelming evidence of Daryl's heterosexuality that would make it some major rewrite for him to be gay?
This revelation comes in wake of a recent blog on HuffPost that questioned: why are there no gays on "The Walking Dead"?
Well he has a point. For instance "gay for pay".
I don't get it. If a dude is willing to fukk around with another man pretend or not they gotta be a bit gay.
how does he have a point? you dudes make an issue out of everything that shouldn't even be an issue. he's an actor. it's his job. he doesn't have to be gay to play a gay character.
the thing that irks me about some of you guys is that you guys project your insecurities onto other people and tell them.. "hey, if you do this, then you're gay". no, you're gay. if you feel the need to prove how straight you are, you're probably hiding something. we're talking about ACTING here. here's acting a role. his acting role is NOT who he is as a person.
