My TV too big and shyt to be at my 100% effectiveness breh's. nikkas are over here playing with headsets on, monitors, cabled controllers, etc. to make sure they playing like a pro. shyt is real out here in Halo world.
No they did not. Frankie said and I repeat "hip fire and zoom will not be differenT. There will not be any punishment to using hip fire". That was a fukkin lie. Automatic weapons are OP because of the zoom tightens their spread which is pure fukkery. There should not be a punishment for using hip fire like every halo before the beta.
Do you modify damage damage based on whether you're firing from the hip or using Smart Scope?
Josh Holmes: No. There's no increase in the damage per bullet or anything like that. There's some minimal effect on kick on some weapons.
Tim Longo: It depends on the weapon. Sometimes spread of the bullets, or the behaviour of the damage. But the damage itself, we're trying to keep both hip-fire and Smart Scope the same.

I actually don't mind sprint & halo was my first fps, it's 2015.. at this point sprinting is a given.
i dont play it enough but i understand now i was wondering why nikkas where pushing my wig biack until i zoomed in with the rifle u start with that shyt like night and day i was likeYou don't play enough halo to understand why the automatic weapons at mid-range are too powerful when zoomed in to understand. I've yet to see anyone other than you (no shock here) like how the weapons function with zoom.
Even though the game is a year away, do you realistically see 343i removing sprint in favor of some other tweak e.g. faster base speed, double thrust?? It seems like 343 is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Reading impressions of the beta from say Gaf you see both sides: People clamoring for sprint and ADS and other "purists" saying for them to go.Sprint is my biggest gripe. It will never work in halo. The ground pound is s high risk high reward move and PPP rarely use it. Thruster works well and the recharge time is decent. The guns are balanced except for the strong ass AR, it should not be melting nikkas from mid-range so effectively. The sniper and overall shooting is much more difficult than the past couple games, you can def tell who has good aiming. Overall the game is fun and I'm glad it's a beta, more tweaks are needed to make it a great game. The ADS thing we were lied to about, they said it didn't change how weapons work when firing from the hip and zooming in, the AR and the SMG both get a tighter spread when u zoom in which is some bullshyt. That's what ADS does and they said this isn't ADS. It still functions like the original zoom with a new look, click the right stick to zoom and you get descoped when shot (which makes it not ADS) but those guns being affected by the change in aiming Is how ADS works in other shooters, so wtf 343? That shyt should not happen.
Sprint has to go.
hell nah, I might as well go play UT at that pointSprint will never work in Halo. fukk all that "get with the times" shyt, Halo is an arena shooter and having sprint completely breaks that. 343 needs to make the base movement speed faster and remove sprint. There are way too many issues being introduced to the game with sprint...way to many and i'm sorry but I can't take you seriously as a "fan" of Halo if you think it will work...you just come off as a fan of shooters to me.
Why sprint doesn't work in Halo:
- Spartans have shields. It takes more than 1 or 2 trigger bursts to kill a player (unless you have a sniper or rocket). This is not COD or Battlefield.
- The game loses it's identity with the introduction of Sprint. Halo has always been about these Spartans trotting around maps to acquire weapons/powerups and kill the opposing team. There is a certain feel that Halo has that no other shooter on consoles have. Halo is an arena shooter, not a military shooter.
- it forces 343 to make maps bigger. Look at the size of halo 5's midship compared to the original. 4v4 maps are way too big with sprint in the game
- Players can easily run away when they are about to die. This just makes engagements and games longer because players have a get out of jail card when they fukk up or get out-skilled
- it ruins the flow of the game. Kill one player while you control a power position and he can spawn, sprint and get back to where you were in an instant, instead of having to properly traverse the map carefully. Also it makes calling out players more random because they can get from point A to point B instantly, so by the time you hear and react to a callout barry allen is halfway across the map.
There are other reasons as well. I've seen enough issues all over websites dedicated to halo. Sprint will NEVER work in halo.
- it makes players change recklessly at others for melees and other wild crazy shyt instead of having more skillful engagements in cqc. Also because this isn't COD where players die super fast these players can get away with cheap kills like this because you won't be able to kill them fast enough unless you have rockets or sniper, it makes your utility weapon (pistol and rifles) ineffective and useless at times
SMG needs to be nerfed, but the AR/Pistol I'm fine with the current TTK time it allows the primary guns to at least not be useless against the DMR.Even though the game is a year away, do you realistically see 343i removing sprint in favor of some other tweak e.g. faster base speed, double thrust?? Who are they going to listen to?? Both parties seem to be pretty vocal about their opinion and although I tend to side with the more "traditional" view of things should at it's core resemble older Halo titles sans sprint and ADS. I agree with the ADS on AR's being way too powerful. I noticed nikkas getting kills with the SMG and AR from distances that didn't seem right and even though I'm not no Halo pro( I wish I was), I knew it was kind of off. I seen some counter argument to this as well like AR users typically are at a disadvantage when on bigger maps that start with BR/DMRs so this is a good thing!
Well why are there big maps there in the first place?? I'd hope they can find a nice balance or something before launch because I honestly plan on copping this next year.
hell nah, I might as well go play UT at that point

yeah AR is too accurate from distance.Only talking about automatics. The pistol is perfect. The BR and DMR are perfect too. It's the AR and SMG with zoom allowing scrubs to mow nikkas down from mid-range and further out that's the issue. These two should not be so effective the further out you are....it's disgusting.
same shyt happened to me. nikkas with like a -9 KD with a higher rank then me because they getting carried to the topHow the fukk this nikka is a rank higher and goes 0-15. Then the other nikka goes 4-13. Yea Imma stop playing for now....these scrubs ain't bout to stress me out.
