We’ve been working at and on various issues all day and users are seeing some improvements – and here’s a wonky but useful tip that should significantly improve some players’ experiences:

When you are in the matchmaking state, looking for players, make sure that the column on the right is headed by the string, “In Lobby” - Usually with gray boxes beneath, until a whole game is gathered.

If it’s in any other state, or you don’t see that it says “In Lobby” as pictured, you will not successfully join a game. Simply press “B” to back out to the main menu, then go back into Multiplayer and Find Game. You should see “In Lobby” and have a much better chance of finding a good session. These shots demonstrate “good” and “bad” conditions you should be attempting to get to.

Awkward? Yes. Sorry! But simple and a tiny band aid while we work on the bigger medicine. More news as we fix more stuff.

I have a strict Nat... shyt has always sucked for Halo. I played a few games last night but expect it to pick up over the weekend and will also try to get my NAT opened.

don't get caught up in pretty gfx

the pc version of the game has a really bad netcode...which is apparent in the mcc version...off host feels really bad and there is this ping noise you hear when shots are suppose to hit, but its not accurate...you can hear the noise and players aren't losing shields...its retarded. This also happens on host. Halo 1's shooting takes a lot of fukkin skill because of the leading and when the leading is off from different ranges and the netcode is poor....its very inconsistent...not good

Hang Em High...a map in the game is changed from the og box version...the pit in the middle has the outer lips removed so its dumb easy to walk in and out of it, so noobs can get away with ease if they go down there. The rockets and other items on the maps are rotated 90 degrees compared to the original version so nade tricks and other ways of acquiring them are different and no one is used to that shyt...

it's a good amount of stuff changed in the pc version that they used..there's a list floating around somewhere on the net...i'll post it if i find it

The Netcoding is not identical either, this is a reworked joint for XB1 buddy
Its fukked up all over for various reason they haven't explained yet, so why don't you let them do what they do

I played socom 2 at the time so I never got into halo 2 like that but that shyt is smooth as fukk

trying to learn the double shot right now its like learning a SF4 combo ...not super hard but its hard for me to do it when Im in a gunfight hopefully will have that down once the team hardcore comes back and I will grind it
