Walshy was washed during halo 3....nothing like he was in H1 and H2....T2 was doing his thing in H3 (won events with snipedown)....both weren't at the top in regards to individual skill but T2 been better than Walshy for years now...

it's good to see another cat on here that follows competitive halo...salute...

btw. T2 has been practicing for the upcoming H2A event this wknd and walshy is actually the coach of his team lol...

Haven't followed in a few years, think I stopped after final boss broke up.

I've heard and watched some of these people and if I went off name value alone, OpTic looks like the best team, but that's cause I haven't heard of some of these people.

I've heard of Ninja but he seems like he can't fit into a team dynamic really well and is just about individual stats.

I remember walshy did fall off heavy in H3. Is Roy still as dominant as he was? He might have to carry that team.

VwS looks solid too, Legit and Naded back together again is a scary sight:whoo:

Is Ghandi still about that trolling life? :lupe:

not a fan of ninja....way too much hype around him individually but like u said...doesnt do well as a team player

"Roy's BR!!" haha.....he hasnt played seriously in like a year so ionno how he's gonna do...dude is my fav. player next to pistola so hopefully he gets it in...

legit and naded will be excited, they teamed up a few times over the last year and change....never won anything lol

gandhi's team is going to get knocked out early....he is just bringing a bunch of ppl with him that are cool at halo but with a crazy following on youtube and twitter for the views....

I've been watching goofy steam lately too he's been looking low key good. Like he doesn't stand out, but at the end of the game I'm like wow son had a really nice game:ohhh:

Just seeing all the old pros come back really got me pumped for this game. Wish I had the time I used to so I could run MLG but I haven't played Halo seriously since H3.

Gonna cop a 1 soon with all these trade-in deals/discounts going on. Picking this and Forza up. I still don't expect it to make a huge e-sports splash but shyt should still pop online for a minute. :blessed:

HALO CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES ANNOUNCED

Today on Xbox Wire and HaloWaypoint the “Halo Championship Series” was officially announced. This will be the official eSports league and format used for competition for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. This format will celebrate the Halo franchise’s rich competitive gaming legacy, while building an all-new platform for the future of Halo eSports. Below are details released discussing the upcoming format:

Halo Championship Series Details:

  • The first season of the Halo Championship Series will kick off shortly after the launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and run from November (preseason) through March of 2015.
  • The official game of the Halo Championship Series is Halo 2: Anniversary.
  • Teams of four Spartans will compete in a structured series of online and in-person LAN events.
  • All officially sanctioned tournaments (LAN and online) will award HCS points to the top teams.
  • HCS LAN event point allocations will be broken down into tiers based on total prize pool and bracket size. For example, a tournament with a $5,000 prize pool will award less points than a tournament with a $25,000 prize pool.
  • Several established tournament organizers are already on board, and will be announcing their events shortly. In the coming weeks, additional tournament organizers will be able to apply to become an official HCS sanctioned partner.
  • At the end of season 1, teams with the highest HCS point totals will be invited to compete at the HCS season finals in March 2015. More details to be announced.
  • In addition to awarding official HCS points, 343 Industries and Twitch look forward to working with and supporting tournament organizers in a variety of ways to ensure the best experience possible for players and fans alike. This includes, but is not limited to financial support, tech support, promotional support, talent and production support, and more.
