What genentic markers would that fall under? Through DNA we can determine the genetic community of a person. Where are the markers showing up for this type of group? Or are they being suppressed at the lab?Saying that you could ascend from an earlier group who arrived at least 400 years earlier than the trans Atlantic slave trade, would surely be presented somewhere in the world through artifacts, linguistics and/or DNA...with DNA being the strongest.
Knowledge of self doesn't stop at assumptions or half truths. Keep searching until you can solidify your assumptions until then, it's merely a feel good concept
I don’t trust those DNA tests. Who conducts them? Are any black owned? How can you stand against ws and believe 100% the word of your oppressor?

There are black DNA companies and you can also purchase a home DNA test kit and conduct one yourself. I stand against WS by staying up with times and correcting information... amongst other things. I think we give too much credit to WS at times and too little credit to the efforts us black people has put in the field.
Plenty of standup black scientists around to be so dismissal of DNA research.

Not too long ago, I may have believe in different types of fringe theories but eventually I couldnt allow myself to remain doormat or dishonest knowing a lot of it didnt stack up correctly and was inaccurate.

We always have to come correct
If you have a theory
Gotta have something factual to authenticate

It’s not a theory tho. Theres proof black people touched this land long before any white man. Now whether any of us descend from them is another story. But it’s very possible considering that it’s documented that they enslaved the natives here.

Where are the traces of the DNA of the said group tho? It could be true, that's debatable.
But claiming you are, without factual knowledge of, should rightfully so be attacked.
That type of talk only confuses others until they go the extreme like the Moorish science temple, Dr York, the Israelites etc while straying them from learning more about Africa..but I digress

It really depends how long they were here. If only a couple hundred years than it makes sense that their DNA didn’t change much. I truly believe that the majority of our ancestry came via the middle passage. But they have told us they enslaved the people here

Let's see the proof.

I'm a first generation Jamaican
My mother & father was born in Jamaica
My grandmother & grandfather was born in Jamaica.....Don't know about my great grandmother & father tho I'll find out today but I'm pretty sure they was born in Jamaica too

But when I was young I was told my grandmother was Cherokee or some shyt like that....I think it's because she had chinky eyes & was coolie (nice hair smh) But that's bullshyt tho because I've had cab drivers mistake me for being from Ghana tho
:patrice:

I just think African Americans are ashamed of their history because of the heavy Anti-black propaganda & indoctrination from mainstream media that it has conditioned them to hate themselves so they wanna distance themselves from Africa....but Africa is replete with so many resources & beautiful cities & has so many beautiful women , what happened brehs

EDIT: I think it was Maroon instead if Cherokee & that was the confusion because african maroons mixed with indigenous people (Amerindians) so over time I think people started calling it maroon Indian Because of the dark skin & nice hair....which somehow nikkaz started calling it Cherokee at least as far as Desecendants of Jamaicans in America & Maroons are from Ghana which explains people mistaking me for being from Ghana

Proof was posted in this thread. You think black people just sat on one continent for 1,000s of years and that white daddy invented boats?
:dahell:

Miss me with the strawman.

What proof was posted in this thread? I must have missed it.
