Krit is mad corny
I would say he's become forced almost caricature like. I was listening to breh from See Me On Top Vol 2 and he was (at the time) the perfect balance of street conscious. After The Vent off Return of 4Eva he started feeling himself too much and his music suffered from it. Became too pretentious and boring for my liking. KWH, and Return are forever classics though.

My Southern GOAT :to:

The Waka interview was dope too. He was def embellishing a bit, KRIT is great nonetheless. Cole and KRIT are different rappers. Why are they being compared?

I have to keep reiterating this but "Good 2getha" could have been that single that made his career take off. Catchy with the right tempo. A solid video to go with it too.

Always thought KRIT should be where Cole is...but the way college age (mainly women) support Cole, KRIT never got that same kinda love.

KRIT & Currensy get disrespected imo
KRIT didn't have a big city behind him. Cole doesn't either, but he went to school in NYC so he surely made some great connections there and it had to help.

KRIT repped Mississippi hard, if he pulled a Rae Sremmurd early on and made it seem like he was from ATL his career might be different... idk tho

He ain't lying, Krit is super underrated.

I agree, Def Jam and his earlier management dropped the ball on his introduction to the hip-hop audience. He's better than JCole in every way
Dude is like a more soulful J Cole. A J Cole if he stayed in a Friday Night Lights bag and even then Krit is still colder especially on the beats. He even did the best Rhythm Roulette imo if you've seen that show.

Why do you blame his management and where do you think they went wrong with him?

I don't see how you can listen to KRIT and not make that argument. At WORST he might be the Southern Nature. I can say he comfortably he is the culmination of the best aspects of Southern hip-hop.
