:jbhmm:

And Obama was actually half WHITE just like Drake :heh:

Nobody questioned Obama’s blackness based on his lineage, they initially questioned his blackness culturally, but since Obama has the natural charisma of a black man and he actually has a black family, it went nowhere.

Kamala’s blackness is questioned because she’s always identified as Asian. Kamala also has a white husband. Moreover, her father is her black parent but he didn’t identify as black either.

no this kamala questioning is far more overblown than Obama ever was, we didn't have McCain saying "is he black?" we all understood the nuances back then.

Trump thinks black people are stupid, and dumbed down America as a whole. and Destroys nuance that once existed and has nikkas saying "Is she black?"

the vast majority of black people accepted Barack as black in 2008. no question.

this is some MAGA era shyt. and in a way, they succeeded at seeming normalize to even some of you.
But I'm not talking about 2008. I said when he initially started running which is 07. I feel like you arguing against something I never said. Obviously it's not exactly the same situation as McCain would never engage in that. Everyone knows the party is different now. That’s not even my argument. I'm simply saying early on people were questioning his blackness and really didn't support him.

Obama's wasn't? Are you out of your fukking mind??

Obama didn't really get a pass. Initially people were questioning his blackness. Most black people didn't support him when he first started running.

Revisionist history like a mfer

Obama was BLACK. It was not a question…unless you’re talking about white folk’s opinion :mjtf: Bc amongst black folk he
was universally regarded as black. Outliers here and there dont matter

This new awakening and definition of black wasn’t until 1) Obama made it clear he was gonna treat being POTUS as a colorless position, and 2) People saw Black Panther and birthed the ADOS movement

The reason dudes would like to be revisionist is to mask how utterly ridiculous, hypocritical, and amateur hour they look

This is just factually not true. Black people were calling Kamala out for claiming shes black in 2019 before she was ever on trumps radar

This could be true. It was a long time ago. but I don’t remember it that way. Not like WHITE people in the media are calling out Kamala

Obama married a black woman from Chicago who is a descendant of American chattel slavery and had 2 black girls.

Had Kamala Devi Harris married a black man she would be considered black.

Identity politics matter to black people as we love celebrities and wanderlust.

We are a politically ignorant voter block which the Democrats exploit with reckless abandonment.

Also we are trying to wise up and will no longer just accept any form of blackness from mulattos and coolies moving forward. Obama ruined that shyt.

I will do some digging. I'm sure I can find some articles and what not. I won't be doing it tonight though.

Good point.

I forgot about Michelle and his kids.

But still it’s like the harder Kamala tries to be “black” the more people call her out

It’s crazy how we never get a presidential candidate with actual descendants of slaves in USA but they get branded as it :banderas:
