I know we should trade for a PF but spo should just groom bam to be it. He’s quick enough and built like Ibaka so he should have him just shoot 3s and mids in practice. That would solve a lot of our problems and we can kill this small ball shyt. Put DJJ at the 3 and lets roll
I have been saying this since last season play him at the 4 the only time we saw him and Whiteside play together was opening night and for that brief period they didn’t look bad together at all but Spo loves small ball

I can’t wait for this small ball jack 30-40-50 3s a game era is in the bushes

its so hard to watch this team struggle sometimes :hhh:
celtics game was very winnable
DJJ is one of the few things that make watching them somewhat entertaining

Spo and his rotations.

Game was tied at the half and Boston blew it open in the third quarter, in part due to the lineup that was on the floor.
Man I still remember Battier and the regular announcers in a 2015 game talking during the game about how he sticks with lineups even when they don’t work, and then the third quarter happened and they were all asking what the hell he was doing with his lineups giving the quick hook to a lineup that was on a roll to one bring Norris Cole and some other scrub in while Dallas went on maybe a 35-3 run :heh:. It amazes me how an 11 year guy still can’t figure out lineups, rotations, and halftime adjustments. This organization would be in so much better shape if he could just understand how to do those things properly.

So what happened in this game last night that everyone was upset about?
Gonna guess it's the typical "Heat loss and one fan-favorite player was not playing thus Spo is a jackass" type upset. Same shyt we seen since LeBron left :yeshrug:

Ellington agent meets with Heat officials to talk trade

Veteran shooting guard Wayne Ellington apparently is looking for a new place to play.

JANUARY 23, 2019
Sam Amico
The agent for Wayne Ellington and the Miami Heat have held discussions about working on a trade for the veteran shooting guard, according to a report from Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Ellington is seeking more minutes. He is on a one-year contract worth $6.3 million and can veto any trade.

Teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans have been linked to Ellington, though it is not known if that was more than just a passing interest.

Ellington’s agent, Mark Bartelstein, refused comment on Ellington’s future with the franchise.

Ellington, 31, has appeared in 22 games this season and is averaging 7.9 points on 36 percent shooting overall and 37 percent on 3-pointers.

The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 7.

----------------------

I don't blame him. It sucks we don't have any minutes for him. Also, how did Olynik fall out of the rotation?

Yea this trade deadline we better be active cause this squad aint it mane. Nikkas look drowsy out there
Too many guys who play the same position
The roster construction is too combo guys/wing heavy and that’s on Spo and Pat
We could see this shyt coming from a mile away that there wasn’t going to be enough minutes for everybody
Hell we are struggling giving guys minutes now I can only imagine if Dragic didn’t get hurt how even more mad guys would be

Idk how much this team can do at the trade deadline i don’t think any major big time moves will be done until after the season this team will looked completely different

No Wade and UD and I can see any combination of Whiteside,Dragic,Waiters, TJ, JJ all gone and if push comes to shove maybe even Winslow or Richardson if it for a legit big time star

It’s hard to explain Justise Winslow’s midseason transformation. But those closest to the 22-year-old Heat guard believe they know one of the biggest reasons behind Winslow’s sudden improvement. His oldest brother, Brandon, described the previous two seasons as a “storm” and his mother, Robin Davis, called it “a really dark time” in Winslow’s life. Winslow’s family and friends believe the new and improved version of Winslow on the court has a lot to do with the new and improved version of Winslow off the court. A happier and more mature Winslow, who was drafted by the Heat with the 10th overall pick in 2015 at the age of 19.

“There’s a lot of pressure to play good, and it blocked him mentally,” Brandon said. “At first, it’s exciting because you’re in the NBA. Then comes the pressure, you have to perform, the comparisons, Twitter. It’s just so much. “I think it took him a while to learn how to deal with that, how to control it, how to block it out and to find his rhythm. I always tell him before games, just have fun and be happy. Mom tells him to smile. It’s just that he’s finding his way just to go out there and have fun, and not worry about what everyone else thinks or expects — just doing him.”

That wasn’t always easy for Winslow, who admits the previous two seasons included “dark times.” This period in Winslow’s life began in the middle of 2016-17 when he suffered a shoulder injury that required surgery to repair a torn labrum and cut his second NBA season short after just 18 games. And it continued in 2017-18 when his third NBA season didn’t live up to outside expectations. “There were times when I didn’t know my place in this league or if I had a place or if I should go to the G League,” Winslow said. “There were times when I couldn’t sleep at night, not sleeping on nights before games. I was up just thinking, on the floor just thinking way too much and just not playing instinctively. I’m getting better with being open and talking about it. I think that’s the biggest key, just finding someone you feel comfortable talking to about it.”

Justise Winslow, Miami Heat

:ehh:

Here are a few excepts from the Miami Herald about Winslow. It seems that a lot of his issues were all mental but he is doing a better job with coping with them.

Here is the link to the full article. It's a good read so far. It's too long to post here.
Justise Winslow emerges from ‘a really dark time’ to find happiness on and off the court
