get ur dumb ass back on topic....Pac made a song about New York giving props...deal with it
Ok.

But the song is titled "Old School" and can identify if you grew up with Hip Hop around that time.

Not "I Love NYC" Or "Old School NYC".:martin:

:youngsabo:

Edit:Still waiting on those receipts about Pac hating New York tho :dame:

SOHH ICEY MONOPOLY
These some small minded azz niccaz, man.Pac said "Take me out the game, and the next rapper after me ain't gone have no compassion.

he's not going to give a fukk about the community".....These street niccaz minds are chained to the block. They don't really even have the

capacity or depth to speak on Pac.Say what you want about Pac, but that nicca had some cultivation about himself. There was a sense

of global awareness/spirituality to him.A heightened sense of awareness, really. He rolled with the street element because that shyt is inter-

twined in the culture. They move like frats/networks and display masculine principles. Not trying to knock that element.Again, there's potential

there if you can cultivate it.I'm just saying I can understand how a nicca might gravitate towards that crowd seeking a sense of power.

But a lot of these niccaz they're propping up in front of us nowadays don't have the pedigree Pac had. They judge him through the lil lense

of underdeveloped minds. They can't elevate beyond "My block" hood city street etc..etc....The masses are asses, so they eat it up.These

niccaz are off brand.

The streets are the father some of us didnt have. Even if you not a g you are automatically tied to the streets for some sense of masculinity if you lacked it in a present father figure. That goes not only for young black boys but basically all boys in the inner city, the movie a bronx tale specifically is about that. But the constant attact on positive black masculinity in as being soft is a lot stronger than it is on other communities. I hate that shyt personally but I also feel the moment we leave the streets behind is the moment hip hop culture becomes fully gentrified. Its starting too there has to be a balance

But we got a whole song dedicated to the state. :blessed:

And befriends Ice T, is produced by Dre..but you can go head and argue why he mention so and so in a song..because being a east coast head he wasnt influenced by them...lol..yeah let you tell it.

Most of the artist he mentioned came out in between 84-86, while still being a teen. What was you doing?

West Coast artist really didnt move units or make a national splash UNTIL 87-88.

By that time he was already MC New York and on his way to California.

Not to mention, Why aint he mention the rest of New York rap artists if its a song about New York City?

Its about the old school, which i said i identify with cuz I grew up on the same music he did.
