the whole fukking genre which KARTEL has led for the past few years has mutated into a yankee materialist spoof of RAP MUSIC...

it's disgusting :snoop:

Dancehall Reggae use to be my alternative choice to hip hop...I loved the conviction of their voices....and their Third World social experiences which made me realize black people got it bad everywhere even in the carribean....along with the unique talent homegrown or as Bounty say..."down inna di ghetto where di poor nah haff a ting!!"

but somehow along the way Globilism along with American influences ....caused Dancehall reggae to lose it's identity...and it's reflected in the culture....

yardman wearing tight jeans....all the tattoos and yankee slang...shyt I recently even dated one 20 something year old west indian chick who COULDN'T COOK....like I couldn't fukking believe it...a YARD WOMAN who couldn't cook a dish!!!?!?!?! :mindblown:

and along with the culture came the lost of IDENTITY and the STRUCTURE.......Kartel became a problem cause a vacum was created when dem a lock up all the dons or force them outta thier livelihood and some bosses lost their lives in the early 2000's......due to the intervention of INTERPOL (tlache international police) and Scotland Yard.

man like George "Pepa" Phang...Chubby Dread (RIP)....Zeekes...Willie Haggart (RIP) and di whole Black Roses Massive (Bogle..Ice) as well as Fadda Fowl up inna England.

so then you have fools like Kartel "hotstepping" in their absence... :snoop:

when he along with all other deejays were warned by Commisioner Ellington to CEASE with the fukkery of trying to be a DON simply because you go a foreign ..got money and have tremendous influence over di youth..

but nooooooooooo.......he ain't wanna listen.......just like Patrick Roach's friend say he just was infatuated with the BAD MAN / DON imagery....

just like these rappers whom love to blur the lines between rapper and kingpin.....

skj with the realness..............he was warned ..............the streets were talking and police hearr things too

:lupe: Is Vybz gonna be safe in there?

if he's really snitching he's as good as dead. Jamaican prison isn't like the prisons up in the US, the conditions are really bad, anyone in jail can get touched real easy with no repercussions. There wouldn't even be an investigation, because it's rare the police in Jamaica investigate murders :russ:

Which is why this shyt is so implausible. If Kartel gave information leading to the arrest of anyone, he'd already be dead. Cops are lying, no two ways about it.
