More to the point: it is incredibly difficult to meet a Black woman who is agnostic/atheistic, and even more difficult to find a Black woman who I'd be compatible with, who is also agnostic/atheist.
I've met quite a few who are the goofy "witch" or "Voodoo/Yoruba traditional religious" women. I'd rather not even dip my toes in that dating pool.
I've just accepted the fact that I'll be marrying a religious woman, and I've focused more on other important aspects.

Yes they are or do you have proof showing that they are not?

Again... do you or the poster that dapped you have kids.....??

Also.. when you say that babies are born “atheist” are you implying that they don’t believe in something?

Everyone is born an atheist. Religion is just something that is influenced by your culture and those around you. If you were born in Iran or Saudi Arabia you would be a Muslim, If you were born in India you would probably be Hindu.

A baby cannot comprehend the basic structure of its parents sentences so I doubt it has the mental capacity to not believe or believe.

I'd also say that culture doesn't influence religion rather the other way around. Various cultures I've studied had religion at its core, determining the way it functions/operates. Religion is literally the backbone of civilization. It is a social ritualized practice that maintains community cohesion. That, and the other function of religion is to help man impose his own relation onto the world as he sees it.

I am agnostic, and I can say unless you are trying to find a long-term partner, it doesn't really apply at all. I am older now however and it may be more prevalent as my dating
pool will date hoping to be long term so:yeshrug:ain't gonna kowtow to a sky daddy or a spiritual awakening just to make it easier on others.
white folks taught ya'll atheism and yall took it and ran with it :francis:
:stopitslime:Bruh, Atheism is just a word that describes what many people already felt. Stop giving white people so much damn credit. Black folks can arrive at similar conclusions
without divine white intervention.

:letyasoulglow:Bruh, you seen the shyt too? And the very few I have met who would fall under agnostic/atheist were as you alluded to just not compatible with me.
Religious beliefs are a huge part of unions and our pool is gonna be incredibly small as a result. I don't care much about a partner having religious beliefs, but
I DO care about potentially having children and she is pushing and pushing for them to follow her beliefs, whereas I would rather they find their own way when
they are old enough to find merit in theism/spiritualism. Try telling a woman that the only thing you believe in is yourself and you get some funny conversations.

I just tell folks i'm a humanist.
