Go look up the post fight interview, part of Vitali's rationale for quitting was because he thought the fight was even or that Byrd was ahead and he wouldn't have been able to close the gap so it wouldn't have been worth risking a career ending injury....but he failed to take into account that the fight took place in Germany

pre-1994, Manny trained Lennox is not prime Lennox Lewis though. Younger of course but before Manny Lennox was imminently beatable by anyone he stepped into the ring with.
