The Sweet Science
Word.

nikkas had a problem with the list/seeding/order, but didn't do any nominations :russ:

Oh, and why was Wilder on here? @InvictusAeternusEternus nominated him. Take it up with him

I stand by my vote. I believe The Brown Bomber is the future of the division and will retire undefeated and a HOFer.

Anybody who thinks Vitali beats 18-20 year old Mike is fukking nuts.

Also I can't have been the only person who voted for Deontay out here but if I am. Then that makes me HNIC of #WilderWreckinCrew

:smugbiden: I can dig it!

So where were you when @King P asked for you to submit up to 20 heavyweights at the start?

Everybody has a problem, but somebody voted him in:ufdup:

watching in amazement in da cut as nikkas put wilder on their list. :wow: said fukk it and thought it was just a joke thing. nothing to be taken serious. and then nikkas started taking shyt serious, writing paragraphs and arguing once we started voting n shyt.

I just don't see how wilder makes in a list about that's largely predicated on your career and difficulty of opps, when all he does is fight bums. but yall will stan deontay and say can beat joe but wont bring up his bum resume. then nikkas wanna say all Tyson fought is bums.....................

Resumes dont win fights...styles do:ufdup:

What was Guillermo Rigondeaux resume looking like when he got in there and beat the fukk out of Nonito Donaire?:mjpls:

What was Ricardo Mayorga's resume looking like when he beat Vernon Forrest twice?:mjpls:

What was Buster Douglas resume looking like when he beat Mike Tyson?:mjpls:

My point is, if yall just judging by resumes, then you might as well go on and end the tournament now with Muhammad Ali vs Joe Louis in the championship since they have the 2 best resumes in heavyweight history.

Im going by stylistic matchups and breaking down the fights THAT way....just like a fight would play out, style vs style.

Problem is...you or nobody else in this thread has given a valid & reasonable breakdown as to why a slow, lumbering Vitali with his horrible footwork... presents a bad stylistic matchup for Mike...the arguments go as follows...

"...but...but...he's tall!..."

Tony Tucker & Tyrell Biggs were tall too...amongst a host of others that were either KTFO or shutout by Mike.

"...but...but...his jab!..."

When Mike has toppled boxers that have better jabs than Vitali...like Holmes, Thomas & The Truth.

Mike actually has more attributes & skills that has been proven to trouble Vitali moreso than the other way around...his speed is one and his head/upper body movement is another.

I'm not impressed with Vitali's defense either...Byrd was able to land 45% of his punches against Vitali (while limiting Vitali to 24% landed) and an old, out of shape, undertrained Lennox Lewis practically landed at will on Vitali and had his face lookin' like Shwarzenegger at the end of Terminator 2 :russ:

To think that one of the most explosive & dynamic boxers in history won't be able to regularly connect as well is utterly fukking absurd...especially given how slow Vitali is and pourous his defense is...Vitali just doesn't possess the skillset and athleticism it takes to beat Mike. Point. Blank. Period.

Give me Mike. Vitaly with his hands hanging to his side would be an invite for mike to double jab get inside then right hook to the body then followed by the uppercut. Vitaly is a beast though had to think about this one. Mike has shown that he can be a mental midget when he sees he can't hurt you, so if vitaly was able to withstand his punches then I can see Vitaly winning a split decision.
