This is the absolute worst possible matchup for Mike. Comparing Vitali's chin to rock or granite is an insult to his chin. The uppercut that Lennox nailed him with is one of the damnest punches I've seen not even knock someone down. The dude just doesn't make any sense. Mike absolutely brutalizes him with an early onslaught, but the only way Vitali loses this fight is on cuts or a ref stepping in. If he lets them fight, Vitali wins with a mid to late round stoppage.

whats funny I can see tyson getting to Wlad even tho hes the better boxer then his brother...But Vitalis chin/toughness should be up there with the likes of Lamotta and Toney...Even if mike got past the reach it still wouldnt be enough..

Mike in his prime doesn't look the way he looked vs. Lennox. I think he gets to Vitali with his speed and defense. This matchup is all wrong for the post Cus and Rooney Tyson. Vitali can KO Mike but I don't think he wouldve gotten to prime Mike, which is what these bouts are based on.
