I hear you..I really do but imo that won't change much until our voice is heard on a national stage. We have to keep fighting these people at every level. So I definitely agree with you but we have to keep pressure on them on a national level

Whites are gonna do what they want to do. Especially if the conservative whites have the numbers in that district and control the school board/state legislature/Governorship etc.

If the school system is racist and is not teaching Black History, there is nothing preventing US from teaching our own.

I can only assume because our civil rights movement layed the ground work for the lgbt community and women to fight to stop discrimination against them as well.
We also had openly gay influential people like James Baldwin and Baynard Rustin.

The people pushing for these bills don't care about how adamant you are about teaching your kids black history. It's about not exposing their cac kids to black activism and reparations (they were pretty explicit about that in the video).

I don't know about you but having a population that ignorant to American history seems dangerous
