Is Chadwick sick?
Is Chadwick sick?
looks like this will be his swan song
any details you can share about him (his last performance) and her? And the movie in general.I went to the advanced screening for this. Viola and Chadwick both did a great job. Glad it's finally getting released.

Is Boseman the lead, or co-lead or a supporting character in terms of screen time?
How was ole girlBoseman is a co lead. I will say Viola shined a bit more though. Viola does a musical intro which is just incredible. I didn't even recognize it was her at first they way they made her up. It definitely feels like a play sometimes cause its dialogue heavy and there are not a lot locations/ sets. Might have a 10, 15 minute dialogue in the same setting between characters at points. But the the banter is witty, comedic, and engaging. without spoiling it Boseman's character by the end of the movie makes a decision that makes him completely unlikable and seems to come out of nowhere. Its possible they switch the ending up cause when they asked us what we didn't like most people were in agreement about disliking the ending. I never saw/read the play but I think its the same ending if you want to spoil it for yourself. Overall everyone gave amazing performances. Easy Oscar contender.
Oh and since this is the coli... yes there is some brief shoehorned lgbt (Female/Female) innuendo in there for good measure. Seemed a but out of place but yall know how netflix do.
How was ole girl
You think Boseman got a shot at a nom? Damn.
What was it about Viola's performance that made it so great? They really had her looking different as well? She didn't stand out but looked good. And yes he easily get a nomination from this.
If only.nah think he just lost weight for Spike's flick

The woman she is playing was a lesbian, so just say that you have a problem with gay people
Did you watch the movie? The scene was completely out of place with the flow of the movie as I stated. There are ways of exploring these characters without lazy shoehorning or out nowhere shock value.
Unless it is a graphic ass sex scene, it is in the play that August Wilson, one of the greatest playwrights ever, wrote. Just say that you are against seeing gay people on your screen. That is not an uncommon sentiment on this website. You guys then use specious arguments about “writing” or whatever else because you are not able to argue your qualms
