Every other business lost their source of revenue, WWE did not. Vince hoarded talent for years and fired his two co presidents because of it. Only to save 700k this month. WWE is going to gross over a billion if they never run another arena show in 2020. WWE being a ‘family’ was a justification for them continuing live events, so why did they boot family out instead of taking the hit together?

It’s absolutely mind boggling the nonsense some believe. WWE is damned if they do and damned if they don’t. The same people saying that “WWE didn’t lose their revenue” are the same people giving them hell for taking safety precautions and continuing to film shows (in which they would lose ALL of their TV revenue if they stopped).

WWE did over $900 million in total revenue in 2019.... at a pro-rated figure for 2020.....their current television contracts make up approximately $400 million of that. Their Network subs make up approximately another $150 million as well..... so that’s roughly $550 million they haven’t lost (or at least yet).... so that leaves well over $350 million in pro-rated revenue gone. The vast majority of that being live gate revenue and live event merchandise sales.

You realize how catastrophic that can be? I mean shyt, they just lost $25 million in live gate revenue for Raymond James Stadium WrestleMania alone.
