You own a billion dollar business that still has live events (whether that's weekly TVs, pay per views or house shows) as a revenue stream literally get KILLED with no certain date of picking back up. That's also going to cause their merch sales to drop. What else would you do? Continue to bleed payroll?

Folks on here in entry level jobs with no business sense trying to play Internet CEO. Of course they had to cut staff. Its fukked up but there's no other choice.

Impact/ROH/NWA are going to eat more than AEW. I can see them making a push to get Lio Rush, Rusev, Deonna Purrazzo (think she was originally booked for All In before signing with WWE), and maybe Rowan but everyone else is probably bound to either of those three companies with the exception of Gallows/Anderson, who could probably walk back into the Bullet Club.

I think what AEW should focus on is trying to get some of the coaches/agents the WWE furloughed. Probably more of a long-term value having someone like Angle, Shane Helms, or Fit Finley being able to further develop the talent they have than load up and go after the Curt Hawkins/Heath Slater types that would job out.

jesus, I already said I agree about that one tweet about them getting money on the way out being taken with a grain salt. Now with the Meltzer shyt, whether directly or indirectly he was the one making yall think WWE is "evil" for cutting people. You're trying to play stupid now.
