Cole and Kendrick did mention an Eminem influence but nop, lol, they're just trying to be polite...Kendrick has never mentioned eminem in a top 10 before signing to Aftermath, and the only time he talks about Eminem is when he's being questioned about him

So....he's influenced HOW people actually rap...but not what they rap about or how they dress....



Let's put that into proper context.

If you just hate Eminem fair enough...if you are co-signing the notion that people blatantly copying your content or wearing your clothes should out-weight you having an effect on the fukking foundation of the art form you are TOY and I don't respect you or anything you have to say about rap music or Hip Hop, don't quote me @ me or even fukking...look at my avatar, you aren't allowed.

What is Eminem's content? You can try and define it as "school shooter" or whatever lable but let's be clinical about this shyt here...If YOU as an artist were inspired by Eminem and wanted to put your spin to his material, you don't do it by just making shock value...that's not the bulk of his "content"...you make personal/vulnerable AUTO-BIOGRAPHICAL music and you do it in a way where people are impressed with your Technique.

Unless you really don't know shyt about Eminem you know what I just said was facts.

And all of that is exactly Kendrick (the best rapper alive's) whole schtick...like I said, the nikkas who hate on Kendrick use a lot of the same talking points that people use against Eminem...and while "school shooter" isn't what I would call Kendricks music it is personal, vulnerable and auto-bigraphical even self depreciating which is another key.
