McAfee isn't in the WWE bubble like that; he could tell them to fukk off tomorrow and be no worse for the wear given his radio/podcasting work. In fact, remember: one of McAfee's first interactions with Vince consisted of getting shyt on for wearing Tuxedo shorts (horrible look) and Pat telling Vince (more or less) that if it was good enough for LeBron, it was good enough for WrestleMania, and threatening to quit on the spot if he wasn't allowed to work in that outfit.

Booker's a company man through and through no matter where he's at (like way too many people in the business). There's your difference.

Honestly McAfee will go far in the company while having that attitude. Vince doesn't respect that happy to be here bs. There would be alot more stars in the game period if cats started moving and acting like stars instead of acting like they owe the company something.

Black fans never loved Booker T like that and seems to take that out on others
Are you sure about that? I remember Harlem Heat got love in WCW and Booker T got love when he first went solo in WCW. IDK how it was in WWE because I wasn't really watching during the ruthless aggression era.

Is Booker T the most successful/accomplished black wrestler of all time?
The Rock is but since he's mixed, some people don't count him. If we're talking fully black, then probably so. Held all the major titles in WCW and held multiple championships in WWE so I would say yes.

This along with that brass ring shyt is one of the biggest myths about WWE. That act like a star shyt only works if all of the shot callers in management are really high on you and plan to strap the rocket to you or you're an established superstar like Cena or Orton.

It's really the only way to take control of your career. If your cool with leaving your lively hood up too 75year old man go on ahead but the people who prosper seem to not give a damn or they branch out and do other things.

Just like in real life the place you work for should never be more important than you. Some cats really do fall for that family bs though and while I met some real solid people at places of employment you still gotta look out for number 1 at the end of the day cause no one else will.

Having that attitude is good until Vince gets sick of hearing you. This is why Paul Heyman kept falling out of favor with him: Vince liked having him around as a "devil's advocate" voice at first, but then Paul would either say the wrong thing, do the wrong thing, or never ever shut up about something, which would sour Vince on Heyman and whatever he was supporting at the time. There's a fine line you have to walk when you have that kind of attitude, especially with someone as volatile as Vince.

At first I was looking at punk funny when he quit but after all the releases, countless reports, wrestler tell all interviews it seems like if Vince don’t “get” you then it doesn’t matter how good you are or what ideas you have. When wrestler podcasts first started after hearing guys like Stone cold, Jericho, and JR praise Vinces name I was telling my boy that he wasn’t really that mr McMahon character. He who had since stopped watching wrestling looked at me like :stopitslime: he 100% is that character. There is no question, he said I could never work for someone like that

Yea I’m hindsight all of those guys left wwe except Austin who wasn’t there in the first place and I now see that he was just being himself all this time.

That's my whole point you don't wait until someone gets sick of you. You should be using any job...yes even WWE as a stepping stone for something better.. yes not everyone gonna be the Rock or even Jericho but at some point you have to take control of your career.

Not to mention Dude has a history of bringing back talent from Warrior to Shelton Benjamin if you want a pay day you probably can get one.

where is this coming from?

even with all his c00ning I still say Booker T as a wrestler is top 5. He excelled with pretty much every character/gimmick thrown at him.

And that leads me into saying this...when i see these no character wack ass generic white dudes like CM Punk and Moxley crying about gimmicks while a guy like Booker made everything work...this is why i try my best not to waste time anymore debating people about boring ass CM Punk or Moxley or any of these other white guys that get to over-achieve in wrestling.
