As mentioned above, it's a shame Naomi and Asuka aren't teaming anymore. I liked them as a team better than even Sasha and Bayley.

I'd expect it to be more like the latter. Ember's a sweetheart, but I don't think she has the character chops to pull off a team with someone like Bianca. Hell, they haven't even fully figured out what her character is.

I could maybe Mia Yim working better as a partner for Ember. Or just keep Ember a singles competitor until someone who really complements her appears.

Random but kinda related since we're talking about Ember's character; I still lol at how so many of us were convinced Ember was doing some kind of werewolf inspired character for months and then all the sudden they said "warrior goddess" and we were all like :gucci:

You're probably right on the money about her remaining a singles competitor though. I feel like after the crowd reaction she got at Evolution they gotta be looking at her as someone who potentially has "next". I know some folks are frustrated with how she's been kind of in the background since her call up but I'm actually okay with that since the result is she hasn't had been damaged or taken a bunch of questionable L's.

I would have preferred a mid card female (Intercontinental or US) title just to have an established hierarchy. It's like female wrestlers matters when they decide they do like Natalya can job to someone like Dana Brook clean then we're supposed to take her a threat and Tamina can be a threat her whole career while mostly jobbing and having never won a belt.

I wouldn't doubt that could be next.

The only thing that might save these titles is that the WWE is putting much more juice in the Women's division than anything else so it just may save their tag team division. Really they should be trying to rehab their other play fighting belts before introducing new ones but Vince is going to Vince. Hopefully he lets Road Dogg book the women's tag division and there may be hope for it yet.

I thought she was supposed to be a witch lol

The crowd has always been into Ember. She's super nice and puts on dope matches with just about everyone. She just got called up at a time when the women's division on Raw was busy (not that Smackdown would have been any better given Charlotte's push and the rise of Becky).

Now all they need to do is unify the men's world, women's world and men's tag titles and have those defended on both shows, all while having the IC title on Raw and US title on SD.

Ends the abundance of titles and allowing them to showcase them again.

WWE revealed more details about the match this week. 6 teams - 3 from SmackDown and 3 from RAW, will compete in the Elimination Chamber, with the last one standing crowned the first-ever women's tag team champions.

This time around, two teams will start the bout while the remaining four duos remain enclosed in pods. At specified intervals, a pod will open at random, enabling a new team to enter the match. This will continue until all six pairs have joined the bout. If one member of a team gets eliminated at any time via pinfall or submission, both members of the team are eliminated and must leave the contest. The last tag team standing will be declared the winner and the first-ever Women’s Tag Teams Champions.

The Elimination Chamber PPV will be held at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, on February 17th. But before that, we have the Royal Rumble PPV which is under a week away and will take place on January 28th, 2019.
